Sony Ericsson Zeus Z1 PlayStation phone benchmark
9 December 2010 by Olav Hellesø-Knutsen Engadget has published a video of the Sony Ericsson Zeus running Qualcomm's Neocore OpenGL graphics benchmark app. The result might surprise you
Engadget was sent a video of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Zeus Z1 PlayStation phone where the phone's performance was meassured with Qualcomm Neocore benchmark Android app. The Zeus is a gaming device and graphic performance is of great importance. The Z1 only manage to generate 24.4 frames per second on average. Compared to the Nexus S announced yesterday pulling 56.6 fps, the Zeus Z1 seems like a really outdated device. But the Sony Ericsson Zeus is not neither the hardware or software are final. We will have to wait for the final product for real performance numbers. I have installed the Neocore on a Xperia X10 which gave me aproximately 28 ftp. Clearly, the final Zeus will have to do better than it does on the video below
