From the forum:
The Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-Shot is a tri-band HSDPA phone with 5 megapixels camera with flash.
Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-shot(TM) phone
  • 5 megapixel camera phone with Auto focus and Xenon flash
  • Tri-Band HSDPA phone for high-speed picture and video blogging
  • Advanced digital camera features - BestPic(TM), Photo fix and PictBridge
  • Beautiful images - The 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and Xenon flash produces true digital camera results.  Even if you are not an expert photographer, the K850 does everything to help you get the best possible shots on your phone. Photo fix automatically improves light balance in one click to make your picture as good as it can get. When taking a picture of a moving object, for example at a sports event, you can select BestPic(TM) and take nine pictures in one burst. Then simply choose the best and delete the rest.

Beautifully simple - Increased functionality does not mean increased complexity. When in camera mode the K850's next generation camera menu makes it intuitive to scroll between functions like shoot mode and picture size. The lens cover retracts automatically with one press of the camera button and a new mode selector lets you switch quickly between camera, video and picture viewing modes. The regular phone keyboard also has a dual purpose; switch to camera mode and illuminated icons indicate which keys act as short-cuts for the digital zoom and other functions.

Easy to access - Beyond the camera, the K850 is a capable multimedia phone. The new media browser puts all of your stored media, whether photos, video, music or podcasts, in one place offering you a unique Sony Ericsson media experience. Scroll, sort and access your media from a single point in the menu. The K850 Cyber-shot(TM) phone also allows you to carry out an intelligent search to see photos by the month they were taken, view thumbnail images or scroll through in full-picture mode. With the new crystal display, the K850 offers optimal clarity from any viewing angle.

Easy to share - Once you have taken your picture it is easy to share the memory. If showing a photo on the K850's large 2.2" crystal bright display, the innovative auto rotate feature will display it in the correct aspect - portrait or landscape - irrespective of the orientation it was taken in. Picture blogging and video blogging allow you to upload your shots and footage at HSDPA speeds to your own blogsite.

Easy to pair - Given the premium look of the K850 Cyber-shot(TM) phone, you will want to match it with an accessory that looks just as good. Announced today as an optional accessory, the Bluetooth(TM) Headset IV840 fits discretely and securely into your ear. This high-performance headset can leave you handsfree for up to 9 hours of talking. It can pair automatically with the K850 for easy set-up, whilst digital noise cancellation provides for optimum sound quality. So, like the K850, the IV840 does not compromise performance or ease of use.

Is there an 8gb microSD or Mem Stick Micro? Otherwise, Id rather
have the larger Mem Stick DUo thats used on the w810i. I suppose
it may be coming, but a larger form factor may allow a larger Duo
    also.

Mmmm, this might be the rightfull succesor of my K800i (k810i wasn't). It's time to renew my contract, but I don't even know if I'll be able to get it with a contract soon, damn. Well I might just wait another year and get a W610i or another K800i instead on KPN network (Nehterlands). KPN phones are hardly or not at all branded and as a mather of fact, I'm still very satisfied with my K800i, and should be able to wait for 12 months and get the K850i about a 100 euro's cheaper (wisdom speaking, but my mind tells me to get the K850 as soon as possible, aaaargh). Stupid thing is, phone-companies always advertise with 24 month-contracts, but if the phone is what you're after, a 12 month-contract is much more economical for the customer. Do the maths before you choose, and don't just go for the 24 month-contracts. These are NOT the best deals.

design could be a little better. but the 5 MP camera is the star attraction here.
I have yet to see a nokia that takes better pictures than SE. Perhaps the Nokia fans have not realized that SONY makes the optics for Nokia - CARL ZEISS is a SONY company.
If this is anything like the K750 and the K800 then we have a new KING OF THE HILL in camera phones.

typical SE. Totally missing the boat. It was claimed that these phones were the "next big thing" quite a claim considering you could buy a 5mp nokia phone.... today. Only difference is that the nokia in question boasts far better optics AND far more internal memory. I bet stingy SE won't even throw in a decent memory card with it either. VERY POOR INDEED. I challenge anyone to disagree with me!!!!

Well for those who haven't been observant to Sony Ericsson lately... the next generation of sony ericsson phones will use Java 8. And I am certain this is one of them... Why am I? Because:

    A) They don't have back key
    B) They have a call / end key
    C) This don't have back key and have call/end key is the same for Z750, which will be using Java 8

As for selecting the option keys... I really don't know. But for some reason, i think u are supposed to click that spot area and u press the entire keypad

(Like for instance, you want left option, you press near the left key light and you will be pressing the entire keypad over call/task list key)
