slim phones fit in pockets and stay out of the way when not desired. i hate things cluttering my pockets, but i like ti have a phone on me all the time. thus, thinness works nicely.

i really like that one that looked like a cordless, they had it in black and in white in the vid. that thing would be awesome to throw on a table in a meeting

Siosal: wasn't that just their old PDC network which had a weak broadcast strength, and the new wcdma-based ones have the same perfomance as their european counterparts?

Few years ago we had big thick phones and no one complained. Phones were 30mm thick and it was good but now if phone has 30mm its called brick and that's stupid. If in those 30mm manufacturer could put 3x optical zoom and some great other stuff I wouldn't mind buying it. Just like sharp did with 910sh they even managed to make it 24mm and still for most of the people its thick!!

Just to be put a spanner in the works, asian cellphones are renowned for their horrible reception. The looks come with a price.

the reason they have awesome phone is because they don't mind thick phones.

To be honest, i don't mind phones that thick either to be honest.

I don't know what the obession with thinness is.
