The P800 will be available in "selected markets" in week 50. Sony Ericsson spokesman Peter Bodor said to Reuters the phone would be available in shops in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Greece as well as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong.
The P800 is Sony Ericsson's state of the art device with built-in camera, touch screen, hand recognition software, MP3 player, Web browser and more.
The choice of countries for the limited rollout was influenced by the availability of service centers and co-operation with local mobile operators, Bodor said.
