Spycatcher has a wide range of spy phones, and their latest addition is the Sony Ericsson K700i spy phone.

Spycatcher is retailing the special spy version of the K700i for £140 in the UK. Using this device you’ll be able to dial the hidden number (which only you would know), and the phone will automatically use its microphone to pick up whatever is going on around the phone. source:intomobile

So, it has the sound and vibration turned off and the auto-answer turned on, then what?

Well, its certainly an upgrade from the previous assortment. The "spy phones" before this were a Nokia 3300 and a couple of older pre-color screen phones. I think this is a great phone choice. Not too obvious a model, plus it's still a decent phone.

Riz,
They chose the K700i for the very reason that it's cheap.
The idea is you leave the phone hidden somewhere (Could be on the side of the world if you like) and then call it to listen in on what's happening.
I think it's a great idea... You could drop it off at the Sony Ericsson Head Office and hear about all the 2008 models!
Or.. leave it hidden at your girlfriends house to see if she has anyone else come around ;)

IMHO this was the BEST designed SE fone to date !

This is ridiculous! I've got a shortcut on my K800i to record sound. One flick of the joystick and it starts recording whatever is around (or my conversation when I'm on the phone).

Why does anyone need a "secret number" and spend £140 on a phone that's 3 years old?
