Sony Ericsson K300i. Rumours about a new entry level phone from Sony Ericsson
26 November 2004 by Olav Hellesø-Knutsen It is a long time since we heard anything about new models from Sony Ericsson. We have reasons to believe that a new model named K300i will be release from the company soon The K300i will probably be available in the beginning of 2005. It will have a 128x128, 65536 colour display. This is the same display resolution as Z200 and J200i has. K300i will also have GPRS, WAP 2.0, MP3- and video player, Java and MMS. It is unknown if the K300i will have a built in camera, but if it is the entry-level model of the K700 / K500 series, it probably will. According an article on DigiTimes, Arima Communication, a handsets manufacture for other companies like Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola, will produce 2-2.5 million mobile phones to Sony Ericsson this quarter. Arima will begin filling the order for Sony Ericsson's J200, and shipments of the K300 phone (an upgrade model of the T630) will start in the first quarter of 2005. We will get back with more information about the K300 as soon as we find out more.
