Technical details:
Designed for developing nations, the Motorola PVOT is a hand cranked, rechargeable AA battery powered phone.

 

 

You get one minute of use for every 25 cranks.Other features include a 125 x 125 Dot Matrix LCD and an “Eraser Shield" keypad.No word yet on if this concept will go into production but it does look rather sexy. source:techeblog

I think it's a great idea and a wonderful design, if not maybe a little too fancy for the market it is aimed at. Maybe a more robust design would be better .

Second up awesome design and brilliant idea. As said before this will be a great second phone to keep tucked away in case of emergencies.
