Sony Ericsson announces K310 camera phone
28 February 2006 by Olav Hellesø-Knutsen The triple-band Sony Ericsson K310 is a budget phone with GPRS, email, MP3 ring tones and Java The K310 camera phone announced today from Sony Ericsson will appeal to anyone that wants to take quick snaps on the go and keep their pocket picture album always to hand. This well designed yet affordable handset integrates a phone and camera with practical tools for viewing, storing and sharing images. Added features, uncommon at this price point, include high quality display and imaging effects. Viewing pictures with friends and family is a high quality experience thanks to the 65K Ultra Bright Colour (UBC) display, a new screen technology that produces a crisp, clear image. It is easy to browse through thumbnails of pictures stored on the phone for instant viewing or sharing by MMS or IrDA. Before sharing shots, fun imaging effects, such as ‘face warp’ can be added for extra interest and humour.
A host of MP3 ring tones, 3D games and a media player with MP3 support make the K310 an entertaining partner when travelling, in the gym or walking. The Sony Ericsson K310 is a Triple Band GPRS handset commercially available in Misty Silver and Shadow Blue colours and starts shipping globally during Q2 2006.
