HTC 7 Pro release date revealed by O2 Germany

HTC 7 Pro is said to be available on the German operator O2 in January. Previous handsets from HTC with QWERTY form factor has been relatively popular. And so should this, being the first one from HTC running on Windows Phone 7 in combination of a QWERTY keyboard. The Dell Venue Pro is another WP7 phone with QWERTY keyboard, but HTC 7 Pro will be the first Windows Phone 7 with a horizontal sliding keyboard.

Apart from the availability date, O2's HTC 7 Pro specification page does not reveal much new information

We allready know the following about the phone:

• 5 megapixel camera, autofocus and flash
• 720p HD video recording. No front camera specification given and none are visible on the photos
• Sensors: G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor

The HTC 7 Pro will have the HTC Sense user interface running on top of the OS.

We can not spot any front camera on the images so it is likely that it lacks video call functionality.
