Fujitsu Four Way Slider Concept Phone

25 November 2006 by axxxr
This unique four way slider concept phone from fujitsu puts the Nokia dual slider N95 to shame.

T3 magazine has an exclusive hands on report on the amazing fujitsu concept which i've posted about in the past. Here is a handset which you would be forgiven for thinking if it was a phone, Games machine, MP3 player, or Camcorder? Depends which way you flick it and its beautiful to boot.

The beauty of this sexy device is that it can slide up,down, left and right to reveal a different set of keys each time. There’s even a nifty touch-sensitive slider to adjust volume when you’re playing back MP3s or video, and a set of “normal" navigation keys up front for making calls.

Fujitsu says the design will make an appearance in real phones next year, here's hopeing.Check out the Video below. source:t3

Wouldn't it be a cool idea to use the mostly empty space below the screen to position a numeric keyboard? That idea just might catch on.

Nah? It looks so plasticky! I would still want a 2-way slider Nokia N95!

interesting concept, cant really see the point tho, do you want ur mp3 buttons covered just because u have the number keys exposed, more likely that u want both some of the time.

I am very curious to see how you will be able to type text in this thing. Otherwise it is interesting as a concept.
