thats beautiful man
is that the best one availble at the market at the momment ?

I use the HBH-DS980 with my G900. Works fine, except from the annoying fact that when browsing the contacts in the headset, they are sorted by last name rather than first name. I've already changed this when browsing contacts in the phone, thinking the headset would follow along, but no no... So now I have the contacts in the phone sorted by first name and in the headset by last name. (Annoying!)
I've tried to pair the headset with a K800 as well. No problems at all with the sort order - they were sorted by first name.
Since I haven't found any way to change the sort order directly in the headset, I guess this is either a problem or a "feature" in the phone.
Anyone else with this experience?
Could we expect this being fixed in a coming phone firmware update or should I just accept it?
Thanks!

Can anyone recommend the cheapest and best genuine seller of these?

This is really nice. The OLED display is really cool, however mine just screwed up then unscrewed itself again. So its back to normal. Sound quality is fine, and actually the neck strap thing is good because you can hide it under your shirt during class, then play music while the teacher's not around. You don't even have to touch your phone; just make sure your bluetooth is on. Then you just turn on the headset and it connects to your phone, and you can play your music. Can't change artist or playlist, but it can scroll through your contacts so I don't regret my purchase.

Does it support CLI? I mean does the caller name appears on the OLED when u're receiving some call?
1more question, why there is a price different?
On Amazon it is@£57.95,
ebay same
and on http://se-store.co.uk it is @£68.45
I want 0metre (first hand) piece so where should i buy it from?

Wow, looks nice O_o I just wish the earbuds were like the ones from their old mp3 players though. The ones that go in the ear kinda at an angle, seemed to fit a lot nicer for my ears.

i really like the look of this device. has anyone tried it with the k850? does it work well with that mobile?
Posted by NightBlade
Well, I can tell you that it works fantastcally with the K810 and C905. Not sure about K850, though.
But I doubt there'll be problems.

Yes if you have a bluetooth 2.0 dongle, u can stream your pc music to ur bluetooth handset. Also you can use them to communicate on messengers telephony.

Can you listen to FM radio with the bluetooth earphones, without having any other earphones wired to the phone?
Posted by alexlt
No, you can't ... you always need the wires cause they work like an antenna for the radio ...

Still no Ds980 user came up with my question. Come on guys, i havent asked difficult question.

Yes, all sounds are transferred to the BT headset, including music, film audio and game sounds. When someone calls you, you hear an altered version (very subtle and recognisable) of the SE ringtone through the headphones, in addition to your phone ringing with your chosen ringtone.

Nightblade, thanks for reply.
I love this Ds980. Its really a wonderful product. Only one complain, it plays sony ericsson ringtone instead of (not in addition of) the ringtone you have set. I have assigned diff tones for diff people. So i come to know who is calling? Which is not possible with Ds980.
Posted by NightBlade
Your phone does ring with your set ringtones through the loudspeaker, but the tone you hear through the headphones is the same. Luckily, the caller's name is shown on the OLED screen of the headset.
Posted by ceaser2008
Thank you, nightblade.
So now i have to hear sony ericsson ringtone. Yeah you are right, the set ringtone is played through phone loudspeakers. But in traffic or other noisy area, you cannot listen to your phone as air-tight ear-buds are in your ears.
But i guess, i can cope up. As to gain something you have to loose something.

Glad I could help.
