LG Optimus 4X HD now available in Europe
15 June 2012 by Olav Hellesø-Knutsen LG this week announced that the quad-core model Optimus 4X HD now is available in stores in Europe
The 4.7 inch quad-core Android smartphone LG Optimus 4X HD is now available in stores in Europe. The Optimus 4X HD was introduced during the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. It was one of four models with a quad-core processor. Optimus 4X HD has a 4.7 inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor which has four main cores and a fifth core clocked much lower than the other four. The fifth core needs less power so this saves battery. Since the introduction of the Optimus 4X HD at MWC, LG has added a bonus Eco-Mode app which enables the user to shut down individually cores manually. LG Optimus 4X HD will be available in Germany first, followed by the Netherlands, Sweden, UK and Italy. The rest of Europe, Asia, CIS and South and Central America will receive the Optimus 4X HD in the following weeks. LG Optimus 4X HD highlights
