I have tried pasting a playlist from mediago into my SBH50 to no avail. How can I get playlists on it so I can listen to podcasts exclusively from music?

I just bought a SONY Walkman A-35. I'm using macosx. I can create an m3u file with iTunes, VLC and m3u_gen. None of the m3u files that I create with any of those three apps are usable in the device. The device READS the playlist (it gets categorized) but when I try to add songs to it, it says "Could not update the playlist." Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
