one more for me about pairing with Sony Headset..

I will edit it later..

One more question about the Sony apps and Xperia Tablet S...

On my Xperia T... I can get these menus.. if I pull down the notifications bar that show the headset connected,

+++.... headset can be seen top left corner..

So I can choose what notifications I want to go to the headset... text, calendar, email etc.

I have downloaded all apps to the Sony Xperia Tablet S but I do not see the same way to choose notifications..

I guess either it is not there, or I am missing something obvious1

Any advice welcomed!

This is sorted now... repaired the headset and tablet and I get a small headset icon bottom right which when tapped, gives access to the apps.

I'm hoping to have one very soon. Can't wait.

Oh, Ofiaich. What is the keyboard like to use on the accessory and what material is it made of?

Thanks

Was going to ask the same.

This is where I come for tablets?? Sorry, nice collection there @ofiaich

Hi!

The keyboard cover seems to be made of a plastic covered with a 'leather-feel' material.

The keys are slightly proud of the back and I find it easy to use and the keys are responsive. However, I do not like the angle that the tablet is to the keyboard, and find it too upright. Maybe the casing will 'give' a little more with use...

Here is a Youtube link...

My Apple Bluetooth keyboard does not work with my Xperia Tablet,

but there is an app, Blueinput, that will allow this to work!

Demo version -> here...

Paid version 9.99 euro! here...

had a play with this baby in the Sony store here and it was linked to about 30 tvs, what fun it was changing channels on various tvs with this. I think I was driving the sales staff mad lol Feels nice this tablet only gripe is that annoying properiartry connection and with the stand its so fiddly trying to fix it on.

Sorry to be late... I see you found your answer... !

I like my Xperia Tablet very much! Pity the 64gb model is not sold in the UK, but I do see it's sold in Japan and I will be there in January!

edit - 64 gb version is now on UK Sony site...

Before I buy... Xperia tablet S
If say I have music, videos, pictures stored on sd card. Will these be available to view/use straight off the memory card without transfering to built in memory first? Sony rep is telling me the card reader is only to transfer media across and media won't show up until transfered across. Is this correct?

I have a Sony tablet S, and it is already the case.
Music and video on my SD card can be read by any installed music player or video player (mx, dice etc)

Sales have now resumed. source

Thanks, I got myself one of these beauties as soon as these were back in store last week. 16gB Wifi only - Xperia link and a whopper of a memorycard do the rest...

Posted by northmonkey
Just got one of these on ebay but the screen keeps going black now and then and the only way to get it to come back on is to lock the screen and unlock it again has happened twice in a few minutes on occasions must mean its faulty.

Posted by goldenface
Has it got the latest fw on?

Posted by fjcarlsson
Does anyone know if there is new firmware on the way? Jellybean?

Posted by northmonkey
Mine is running 4.0.3 (release5a) it says my software is up to date doing the system update checker.

Posted by ofiaich
Hi everyone,

I think it will be at the end of this quarter...

Fingers crossed..
