Nice. I'd like to see some macro pics too. Does it have the widescreen 9MP format?

Well, the photos above are in the 16:9 9MP format, so is safe to assume that it has this "feature".

About the photos, I'm not very pleased with the quality, same oversharpened look when viewed at 1:1 scale, I hope Sony will (finally) improve post-processing with the ICS update.

they are good, but not WOW good.

(it seems normal light condition lack a bit contrast. maybe a newer firmware will upgrade everything a notch)

@hojurek..........a tip when you upload your pics.

upload in "do not resize" ........gives you way better (sharper) photos.

if you shrink them in Esato they sometimes looks a bit unsharp and blurred. (Imageshack doesn't do that, mainly because its a better photo-software)

Really liking the camera on the X S, it does feel better than that of the Arc (aside from the Mpx increase).

File sizes are strange - photos I have been taking have ranged between 1.9mb - 4.1mb.

............ Arc S performs better overall for the moment.

in somehow, some Sony S photos looks a bit fuzzy.

.................BUT, maybe Sony S just need a fresh firmware to step it up.....we have to wait and see i guess.

Those are some great photos. I'd like to show off with panoramic pictures, too!

Posted by tai020381
Both taken with Night Landscape mode turned ON. If you turn stabilizer ON, you will not be able to set ISO manually.

Stabilizer ON, ISO auto (ISO 500 in this pic)

Stabilizer OFF, ISO 100

@tai020381: Please post a link to the originals, so we can examine them further

Posted by tai020381
I will post them when I find time . By the way these photos were taken only at 2mp

Update!

Stabilizer ON, ISO auto (ISO 500 in this pic)

http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/7789/stabilizeron.jpg

Stabilizer OFF, ISO 100

http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/7097/stabilizeroff.jpg

The picture with stabilizer turned ON will make the photo look washed out, as same as last time SE cameras. So the best is to turn OFF stabilizer.
