OMG this was unexpected

247 Million Euro loss in Q4 2011. Full Year 2011 loss 243 million Euro

9 million handsets shipped. Down 20% from last year and 5% from Q3.

That's what happens when 1) SE underestimates the complexity of the market standards ie. -they market their cameras as god sent but still fall miles behind the age old N8 and losing people's trust. Again. 2) They place too much emphasis on things that don't really sell- DESIGN and forgot to compete technologically. 3) Bad luck.

Now Sony is trying to emulate Apple because they think non-expandable 32gb internal memory sells. Good luck to them

Indeed. I feel sad but SE or Sony now I really still don't think they will catch up again. Yes their new handsets have better specs but I still don't see them catching up. Lets just hope there is no more handset cracking issues. I still think their reputation is damaged from its past. Sleep well Ericsson
