Happy new year! Since it's the fifth of the year and nobody posted anything, let me begin the series of 2012 concepts. Here we are with an unnamed device I've received from a designer called Jsus. This is one of those Sony Xperia phones that will leave behind the Sony Ericsson legacy and focus on Sony. Ideas on it?

Designer Shaik Imaduddin sent me some pictures of a concept called Sony Xperia Vita. It's a PlayStation phone with quad core processor and 16MP camera. More details I published on Concept Phones. Opinions?

Guys, this is the new logo i created for our own concept design community here in Esato, to replace the old
concept logo one made by not_me, It is now time for change even though I really loved the old one 
^^ The logo is based on Esato itself, since our community is no longer limited for SE users. the file format is in .psd to enable other users to write their own name on the text area below. the entire file is editable, but I'm asking everyone to stick with the design and edit only the name for uniformity. also take note that the fonts used may or may not be installed on your computer, just use font substitution or you can visit dafont.com to install the same one I used.

Designer Jsus sent me another picture of a Sony Xperia concept. Meet the Xperia Glass, a device that draws inspiration from the Xperia S, through that transparent glass area around it. It compared the Xperia Glass with the Xperia S on Concept Phones if you're interested.

with a new concept called Xperia™ Eterion, and this time...i'll definitely do more pictures! the last time i wasn't pleased with all the stuff i had to do and right now i'm ill... so i'm happy to be at home a while and make more concepts and i'm happy to see so many cool designs from all of you more pictures of xperia™ eterion are following soon, i hope it's okay like that bigger picture on www.some-phones.blogspot.com

That was one unique design you have there mate! I wonder what were the four white dots are (shorcuts?) your Sony logo rendition looks very pleasing! I want to see its back next time

The Xperia Eterion probably has the most elegant camera/flash mechanism I've seen lately. It'll be up on Concept Phones soon enough... In the meantime I must let you all know that I have created an official Google+ page for Concept Phones and you can join me here

I'm trying to study 3D Studio Max too, AutoCAD feels very limited when compared to 3DS Max potential in creating curved detailed 3d works.

well I can always import autocad to 3ds max but still curved surfaces are hard to do in acad
plus there's animation in 3ds too great job btw on the windows 8 tablet

Thanks, actually I'm working on the 3D version of wilhelmina - the dual screen flip phone i made last year, I just learned 3Ds max so my 3D skills couldn't be as reliable as it is with my Photoshop skills, I still need time to polish

Photoshop has been much more powerful than ever before mate
and this thread had been famous because of it, and personally I loved playing with my skills with this program and produce a phone of my wildest imaginations I'm having hard time finding inspiration nowadays, because there is only one major formfactor in a mobile phone unlike pre-iphone 4 days

I'm hoping to see a real cybershot phone someday again, that worth having that title, reeflotz's concept is really cool with that Ray's style. something like k850's back would be nice i guess. The only touchscreen cybershot was Satio?

The Satio was not a cyber-shot, it was not branded Cyber-shot, although it still has one of the greatest imaging potential in SE lineup.

@Reefloz: you're rekindling the light of this thread! that's one awesome cybershot concept! I really want a return of Cybershot phones since it's more possible this time with Sony in full charge of the company, but until that happens we'll have to just fantasize with concepts
a Xperia S inspired concept phone with RX100 sensor in T-series' folding optics lens design would be perfect!
