I don't like the hpm-70 that plug into your ear =/
What's the best ones that are not like that if I have a £70 budget.

My personal favourite is Koss Portapro plugged into any of the compatible interfaces, i.e accepting a standard stereo 3.5 mm plug. Some prefer Sennheiser PX-100 for budget hifi. Regardless, they are dirt cheap and nothing comes even close in sound quality in this segment to my knowledge.

If you can accept in-ear stuff (I know you said you don't), Creative EP-630 is the most inexpensive ticket to the sound I can live with in a comparable budget class. Not as good as what you get through Koss Portapro but as good as it gets with budget in-ear designs. This is provided you can obtain a perfect seal with any of the supplied silicone tips (otherwise bass will suffer bad), I believe there were three different sizes in the package.

Unless something drastic happened on this market in the last two years I think this standard recommendaton stlll holds.

try HPM-64, I like it alot

HPM-64 are good.

However alternatively i would take Sony MDR-EX71 - these are for me one of the best headphones ever.

Hi, i used the HPM-77 w/o problems

I had hpm 61/62 before, very clear, but did fall out easy. Is hpm-64 any better?

@duhprest

hpm-64 fits perfectly on my ears, its depending on your size tho, u should try it 1st before buy it

Personally, I think the HPM-64 is good at best but nowhere as clear as HPM-77. Its about as clear as a HPM-70.

Comparing the HPM-64 to Sony's best non-isolating earphones, the MDR-E888LP, its a far cry. See if you can get your hands on a MDR-E888SP, its the short cord version (40cm) designed for use with the remotes of Sony players.

I have hpm 64. I think sound quality is good but i hear a lot of noise coming from outside. There are sometimes that i dont even hear what im listening to because of the noise it comes from my surroundings (traffic, etc)

which earphone model do you think is the best with good bass & treble? i use hpm-64 with moded rakistas driver for a year now. Bass is good and balance treble. maybe its time to buy new earphone or headset which is the same or far better than hpm64.? Which is the best one (good bass & treble) to buy?

Hi guys,
I purchased these after the ones that came with my phone originally suddenly stopped working. I needed a cheap and quick replacement and these seemed pretty good. Mine arrived in a couple of days, with the original Sony Ericsson packaging and work amazingly
