both are the same code. you should press right * left left * left * and it will bring the service menu

Posted by xkiran
Ah... It works.. Thanks!!

Posted by tranced
in service menu you can check your firmware version, camdriver, etc.

sorry guys... maybe Im a dumbass. But i dont understand the
**04*0000*0000*0000# "FOLLOWED BY A WRONG PIN"

After the # key, it says: Wrong PIN 1 attempt left. Naturally, I dont want to screw it up. help?

thx

Posted by aatuif
@miser, ask for puk code from your operator, just in case you need it...
here 0000 is entered because it is the default pin code in most sims, enquire about the correct pin code from your operator...
if you can't find it, then better not to try the trick, else your sim case will be screwed for good...

Agreed. I cannot say about OLD phones but on old :e: phones it does like the T18z/T39m.

Anyone have a code that can show the TRUE lifetime of a phone even if its been flashed.?!

Posted by ahmed5

I can't acces the service menu. When I press right the sms menu pops up

Posted by tk338
put a * before it, so the code looks like this:
* > * < < * < *

Posted by Xen0nflash
Never mind it works now

Posted by aatuif
So there are 2 codes actually to enter the service menu...
both work...

nop, there is just one

Posted by aatuif
@trancy, the one posted above seems diff from that on the first page... IMO...

Oopsie I entered the "start phone without sim"command while the phone was on with the sim inserted,in standby mode...it said new pin saved..so my pin code has been changed? wat is it now? Help!

Posted by tranced
@atuiff: they are typed different but mean the same.

@$herry: how come you did that with the phone on? dont turn off your phone till you find out what your new code is. you could try a master reset. it would reset your code to 0000.

I entered the last command..i.e **04*0000*0000*0000# as it is in standby mode...something tells me even if the pin code was changed,it will remain 0000 cuz this number sequence occurs thrice in the above code...what do u say?

Posted by ahmed5
@$herry, no need to worry cos your code hasnt changed. This is exactly what I've been saying, this code doesnt do jack. I think at its best it's only a short way to change your pin code. Notice how there're 3 sets of 4 digits? Its just short for; old pin, new pin, confirm new pin. Got it now!!!
