If you go to an O2 shop you can get a sim free handset for only £240.00. Mine on contract from O2 came with the Sony MS Duo, but no adapter.

I think your talking about the screen sensor. In the dark it dims the screen and in the light the screen gets brighter.

anyone know how to register the phone to sony ericsson? i've got this message on the phone that asks if you want to register it to sony ericsson but i do not have any credit at that time so i have to cancel it. now i can't find how to show the message again. >_>

Anyone else notice this? Took an album from iTunes, which has the track no / total track no info in it, plus the files are named like 01 Song, 02 Song, 03 Song, etc, so a name sort order would put them in order. Yet, when I play the album browsing the walkman player, the "order" is mixed up? So, the 1st song to play isnt neccessarily Track 1 but might be Track 3? Only way, so far I've found to get them in order is to use the file manager, then que the songs up into the walkman. Any ideas?

I'm using stereo bluetooth SE DS970.
When I swich on bass or megabass in walkman's menu W850
I can't hear any difference...
But when I use HPM-70 headset all work great!
Can anyone help me...
It's sad, 'cause this phone and stereo bluetooth just awesome

As far as I know only Vodafone have white W850i's. CPW do sell white ones but they are only for Vodafone customers and are Vodafone branded.

I decided on a black W850 as well. I like the looks of the phone a lot and now i've removed the branding and updated the firmware the camera and sound seems much better. This is my 2nd W850 as i had to take the 1st one back to o2 as it had a few problems. The second one came with a blue Sandisk 1GB msdp instead of a black Sony one which i had with the 1st W850.

is the 'grouped' theme flash? i love the menu icons for this theme as its really different from anything else and looks futuristic, also after being in the Walkman mode, the animated bubbles on the main screen change colours, tis amazing!!

I cut these down to help with the file sizes, but you get the idea!

well i've had the w850i in WHITE for a day now and must say i'm well pleased with it....very pleased! lol, yes its on voda and branded but that does'nt bother me too much...........yet!, its a cool looking phone and must say i much prefer it to the black but thats because i'm fed up with black mobi's, anyway its everyone to their own taste....the features are brilliant! sounds amazing i'd certainly give it 9/10 nice one SE!

Here are a couple of the Orange bubbles flash theme. The main screen has the walkman playing which is the bar in the middle.

Trust me, my wife has a K800i and I upgraded from a W800i. This phone rocks compared to both of them. It's my first slider as well.
My phone doesn't seem to have any loose keys so it may be faulty. try and check the dummy phone in the shop to see if its the same.

did anyone get the free bluetooth handsfree headset with the phone by taking it out on contract from carphone warehouse? it makes the phone seem even better, although its all down to the bluetooth gizmo, the music is amazing quality using it and the mp3 id tag is really stylish!! Love the phone!!
