, if their Japanese division was heading S.E. they'd have a lot more technology and innovation pumping through, their market is crazy, especially now that it's competing with two rising markets for regional sales (Chinese/Korean).
Most subtle difference is most of their S.E. phones have flash lite, something most of the other S.E. phones lack, and they use it a lot, games/themes/ads/animated messages ...etc, even their website looks sexier
