Nero Mobile Edition

10 January 2006 by axxxr
Nero, leaders in digital media technology, is previewing its new Nero Home Mobile Edition at CES 2006.

This first-of-its-kind product will allow a user of a mobile device/PDA to integrate all types of multimedia on that device, including songs, videos, photos and shortcuts for radio and television streaming content.

Just like Nero Home in the desktop version of the popular Nero 7, the Nero Home Mobile Edition will provide easy and fast access to a user’s entire digital media library.

“With the Nero Home Mobile Edition, we are moving toward the seamless mobility of content accessibility," said Udo Eberlein, President, Nero Inc. “That’s because the Nero Home Mobile Edition will be the link between the mobile device to the desktop/home world—from automatic detection and discovery of the mobile device to the seamless exchange of multimedia content between the PC/Home Media Center and the mobile phone/PDA."

“A key feature of Nero Home Mobile Edition will allow a user to set up automatic syncing when their phone becomes ‘visible’ to the home media center," added Eberlein. “Or, they can simply drag and drop music and videos from the home center onto the mobile device/PDA."

The Nero Home Mobile Edition will have the highest quality, as it will incorporate Nero Digital™, which is fully optimized for mobile devices, regardless of the operating system. Nero Mobile Home Edition also features HE-AAC v2 and MPEG-4 AVC, which will bring an unprecedented new level of multimedia experience to the mobile user. Just like Nero Home, the new Nero Home Mobile Edition will also be fully UPnP compliant.

Nero will be launching Nero Home Mobile Edition late in the first quarter of 2006. www.nero.com
