LG's 3.24 Megapixel camera phone
19 July 2004 by axxxr LG Electronics,provides SK Telecom and KTF with 3.24-megapixel camera phones with CCD module, LG-SD350 and LG-KP3500 Both LG-SD350 and LG-KP3500 adopt a mechanical shutter preventing smear when shooting intense light sources such as sunlight or electric light. In particular, the mechanical shutter guarantees clear pictures by blocking the problem in a physical way rather than software-based methods, the handset maker explained.
The built-in camera’s twin-view system maximizes convenience by allowing users to view the object on both the main and the second display. It also performs other functions of digital cameras such as filter-based special effects, linear 4x zooming, serial shooting and the self-timer.
Besides the mega-pixel camera, the two models are equipped with an MP3 player, 3D speakers and a camcorder capable of high-quality voice recording based on the directional microphone and up to 115 minute continuous recording.
Adding to basic 128MB memory capacity, a 32MB mini SD card for the external slot is provided. High-speed 3D games, 64-polyphony 3D stereo ring tones and an electronic torch mode are also available.
