According to the benchmarks, the 2Ghz CPU is not really outshining the likes of a dual core Qualcomm S4 and/or quad A9 tegra3, and the SGX540 GPU is ancient to say at least, Intel should've build a lowerpower version of their HD graphics found on Sandy/ivy bridge CPUs instead. and there's the issue of android apps using native ARM codes which has to be emulated by the X86 architecture, which could lead to performance penalty.

If that thing went with dual core ~5W AMD G-series APU (with a superior low power DX11 HD7xxx gpu) instead it could blow the competition away in terms of graphics performance while consuming almost similar power as this atom chip used on this.

Yes I read that too. Why is Moto sticking with qHD displays?? :-/ Haven't tried anything from Motorola since the Defy which was an ok phone

This Week, I'm Taking The Opportunity To Do Some Testing With Motorla Razr i And I Confess That I Am Pleasantly Surprised With This Smartphone !

The Same Is Compact, Lightweight And Has An Excellent Build !

On The Resources Side, I Am Pleasantly Surprised With The Excellent Quality Of The Music Player, Audio Quality Is Above Average And Offers a Consistent Experience !

But What Really Should Be Highlighted In This Unit Is The Excellent Camcorder And The Wonderful Web Browsing, Fluency And Speed In Various Sites Is Worthy To Match The More Advanced Models Such As (GALAXY S III), What Is Truly Something Amazing !

On The More Negative Aspects Are Due To The Mediocre Autonomy Of Battery And Archaic/Weak GPU !

Today I Took The Day To Visit My Grandparents, That For More Than Two Months Did Not See !

As My 808 PureView PRO Was Out Of Battery, I Decided To Make My Walk With The Galaxy S III And My New Razr i, Savvy So I Decided To Make a Comparison Between These Two Smartphones, Testing The Performance Of Both In One Night Shot With Bad Lighting Condition !

The 2 Devices Were Supported To Stop The Balcony And Configured To Trigger On Night Mode, Note Just Below The Result Of Both !!!

GALAXY S III (Exposure Time 1/2s And Iso 640)

RAZR i (Exposure Time 1/2s And Iso 800)

Particularly I Prefer Result Provided By S III !!!

For Despite The Darker Image, Same Account With Less Noise !

However the New Smartphone From Motorola Has A Result Expressive, Featuring Increased Brightness !

After Continually Test The 2 Smartphones Top Of Line Motorola !

I Came Some Of The Conclusions:

Razr i Over Razr HD

* Better Digital Camcorder

* Better Web Navigation

* In Practice... Better Battery Life

* More Compact

Razr HD Over Razr i

* Better Digital Camera

* Better Audio Quality (Music Player)

* Better Display

* Best Performance In Games, Especially In 3D (Better GPU)

P.S: In Other Resources Both Smartphones Are Very Similar, Or Be, Very Good !!!

I have one of these from 3UK as my spare phone. Its solid performer and has a gorgeous display and is very fast especially for browsing. Just a nice decent phone. Also surprisingly my Razr I from Three store is unlocked

I'm curious those not too internet savvy from 'across the pond' would be thinking T-Mobile USA vs T-Mobile UK as intended? Even when selecting the link and thinking its the same company and all they need to do is select the USA as a country.

Razr i photo quality with HDR not too bad

How come you can buy hundreds of phones a year? I can't even replace my aging 3-year-old dumb phone.
