oh >>its great but,,
the vidio recordig is changable
i tri it it take 24fps and some times 0.75fps
i hope you fix it

Posted by number1
It's not fixed at 36fps, if your recording video outdoors on a sunny day you will get 36fps, for lowerlight the fps need to decrease to capture more light otherwise your videos would be pitch black.

Posted by Lightspeed_x
I've heard that the latest firmware puts the fps in low light over 10fps, is that true, Number1?...
Does your camdriver records at a fixed 8fps?

Thanks in advance..

Posted by number1
In the camdriver there is 5 different fps settings, i increased 30 which is the maxuim to 36, 15 which is probley the meduim to 17, 12 which i think is the lowest to 14, then theres 10fps & 7.5 which i increased to 8 which i think is night mode, there are a couple more frame settings aswell i didn't really experment with the video much, i concerated more on the photos.

^ Why are there 2 links up north? Can't wait to try the driver.

I think that the first one is for the photo camera and the second one is for the front videocall camera...

Posted by gtr83
@Lightspeed
Do you think it's OK if I only upload the photo camera driver?

Posted by Lightspeed_x
Yes, they're two separate files, you can just upload one of them...

Posted by number1
There was indeed a bug with the video, it also affected shutter speeds, fixed now and link updated. Let me know if theres anymore video problems.

First thing I noticed about the driver is that shutter speed is now slower. But indoor low-light color reproduction has gotten better. The LED flash also has less yellow tint than it did with the R3BH002 original camera driver.

Posted by number1
Due to the C702s small aperture longer exposure time is need 1/5 wasnt long enough pics were a bit dark but 1/4 is fine pics are now the correct brightness.

sampe pictures please

Still, a hearty thank you is in order for number1.

Low-light video isn't gonna be anything great. in daylight the video is very good.

Posted by Lightspeed_x
@Number1: So, pretty much like the original camdriver then?

Posted by gtr83
@Lightspeed
If a camdriver can make that much of a difference in video recording then we don't need an INNOV8

Posted by number1
All the camdriver can do is boast the fps, doesn't work for night mode, lower fps makes it more sensitive to light, so lower fps is needed in night mode for low-light.

Thank you Number1 and everyone else for the explanations.. i'll try your camdriver... my firmware is R3BA035... i'm having some issues with a yellow tint in my pictures... will this affect the camdriver performance?

Thanks in advance

Posted by number1
Thats old firmware, update it cause that firmware also has the reboot bug.

Posted by Lightspeed_x
I tried, but SEUS says i have the most recent software, i reinstalled anyway, but nothing improved...

If i install your camdriver, will still be problems with that yellow tint?...

Posted by number1
Yea the yellow tint will be there, it was a firmware issue, is your phone branded?

I bought it in Orange Dominicana... it seems its lightly branded...

Any comments?

Posted by number1
You should really unbrand it, is it a c702a?

Posted by Lightspeed_x
It's a C702 not the "a" variant... Why?

Posted by otherotter
He NR1,
I have also a c702 and now updating, i love to make "stop-motion" animations, but with a phone its hard to do it because you don't want to move the camera all the time when you taking a picture. It would be great is you van make a photo tool that will
"take a shot when you clap in you hands" (or make a loud sound)

also it would be great if you can choose to have an union layer of the last taken picture.(done often in stopmotion pc software)

I know i ask alot but it would be a great tool what does not yet exist on a mobilephone that i know.

oh there is an other idea!!
instead making a movie lost FPS it would be nice to:
lost some resolution,
or fire up the contrast,
is some cases it is wishfull to not lose some frames per second.

let me know if i you want some other ideas,

Greetings with a guffaw,
Otherotter

Posted by number1
none of that is possible, would require java apps.

Posted by otherotter
to bad,.. are you good with java? would be great to have it.
ps: do you know what the latest firm ware is,.. I do have 29, but it is a bit slow,.. where can i get the latest one?

Posted by number1
no im no good with java, notepad is my limit, yes you have the lastest firmware

Posted by otherotter
to bad, hopefully i will find some firmware (hack) that is less flashy end a bit faster. good night (its 01.00am in holland)

but i don't know what firmware version it is.

@Number1: I just uploaded your camdriver, and it seems the yellow tint issue improved!... thanks for sharing it...

Although i noticed that now, events, such as reminders and automatic keyboard locks show up while using the camera, and this was not the case when using the original camdriver... could you please confirm this?... is there any way to solve it?

Thanks again!

This driver rocks!
Thanks number1!

I eventually had the chance to try the N1 driver in outdoor environments, and thanks to the good weather today.

Colors are so thick. Images are sharper. Noise are still noticed though, but i can reduce noises with a simple one click with a software.

These three are probably the winners of all today pics:

N1 very very good!

Posted by number1
il start work on a new version soon, now i've finished installing apps on my nokia 6630, i can mod the drivers using my nokia 6630 and notepad software shame i can't just bluetooth them to the C702 would save so much time, also the C702's cam module can support optical zoom & a xenon flash there were empty properties for these in the driver shame se never installed them.

Posted by gtr83
If SE put Xenon flashes and optical zoom on each cameraphone they make, it's going to eat chunks off their digital camera market...just my opinion.

Posted by number1
It wouldnt hurt the digicam market but it would cost alot to put xenon flasher and optical zoom in most their phones, and c702 is only a mid range phone. Digicams will always be better they use proper sensors and lens.

Posted by number1
Updated, new version 3.2 see first post.

Posted by Sator1973
Great, will try it immediately.

Posted by rukna
your driver is great
Thanks number1

Posted by Amras
Thanks, number1!
BTW, I still noticed the "cool yellow" (the behavior from the original driver, still noticed in N1).

For example, when the yellow should've been like this:

It most of the times turns out like this (cooler, not warm):

Can you fix it?
Sometimes it gets really annoying as the "K850's pinkish red case".

p.s. I notice that the Twilight Portrait has slightly warmer colors (generally, yellow included), but the warm yellow feeling is still not there yet, IMHO.
