Isn't this thread too early to be created?

btw, i loved the second pic very much, it still shows the 8 megapixel details(albeit some excessive N-R application) in purple fringing-free environment.

lovely pics but way too early.

Haha, clever man! Noone else can post pics in here for ages! - Still, what amazing pics man. (I have K850 - so I guess any other pics look amazing HAHA)

Yeah, the outdoor shots taken with C905 are awesome

Posted by Wizardz
It seems like either the indoor or close up shot aren't that clear. You'll see some distortion.

Close up shots were also taken indoors, and indoor shots are typically noisy(that's if the software N-R is not present) unless N-R is applied and result to detail loss just like what many brands are doing

That's pretty grainy for ISO 200, and the picture isn't very sharp. But then again, it was shot at 1/15s, which is usually hit or miss for sharpness. Does this thing have an optical or sensor-shift image stabilizer?

Meh, I think I'll stick to using a real camera. However, that is still pretty darn good for a camera phone.

Well, you can set the ISO on A200 cyber-shots as well.

I haven't played with any cybershot phone at all.. My latest phone is the Z610.

Now I gotto find out if I want the G900 or C905.

I think I'd go for design and get the C905...

Sorry, just realised I got off topic

No, I just peeked at the EXIF data on darknoob's photo. I don't own the C905 myself.

Somehow I doubt they will put manual controls on a cell phone.

In another thread it was concluded the C905 darknoob used is an older prototype (low light pictures taken with newer protos seem to be less grainy).

Most cybershot phones (at lest the more high-end one) usually have image stabilizer. But nothing fancy as optical or sensor-shifting. Cybershots only lowers the ISO when image stabilizer is enabled to my best knowledge.

Like I said, darknoob, it's really good for a cell phone.

However, it is not comparable to a decent compact camera. In fact, I don't believe the quality is better than the K750 or K800. It seems the sensor size remained the same--they just upped the megapixels, which reduces the photosite size.

Have you seen a 2/3 MP pic taken (or shrunk to 2/3 MP) with C905 compared with K750/K800 to determine that ?

If that was the case the noise and loss of details would have increased (probably alot), not decreased (or styed at same level) as is the case now.

Not half bad, shame about the car though!

Seems Red is now Red, and not a sickly pink conversion! Nice one SEMC! Or should I say SEMCJ?

it's just software stabilization...
in stabilizer mode.. the picture has about 20 to 30 pixels less than the normal one from each side...

those grey spaces will be reserved for your slight hand moves... the Stabilized!!! pic will then be always in the green area... as far as your hand movements don't touch the boundaries of the grey area...

I see that markusradecker has "© All rights reserved." on his photos. So I can assume that plankis asked for permission to copy his photos?! Otherwise I think a moderator should remove them. Am I right?

the topic of this thread is very misleading ...

it says post pics/vids by you (i assume esato members) and the pics posted here are by sum1 else without even crediting them ... not good

at least we can credit the person taking the pic and give a web link as a reference.

do you have permission from him to use his pictures here in resized form?

Damn your good. I was testing out to see if you really knew your stuff and well it's clear. Their taken on my K850i. How can you see it's different, I could never tell.

Also the other pictures you posted are ones in Prague. Just thought you might want to know. The one with those bill boards outside with the pictures on, the pink old building behind it was recently redeveloped into a shopping mall. It's called Palladium. I presume you got the pictures off either these to websites: idnes or seznam.

Do you have any others from Czech Republic?
