A1018s. Perfect condition. As far as I can tell it has never made a call:
Posted by BobaFett
wow, what a rare a1018 colour. whats the official name of it?
Posted by jcwhite_uk
Its called Plum Wine with Dark Plum Wine panel. Its in perfect condition. I dont think it has ever made a phone call but cant prove it. It is the original cover as well as the warrenty sticker is still in place.
Posted by BobaFett
is it the same colour what r320 was released as well?
Posted by r0sewhite
@Boba: I just compared a A1018s cover to a R320 cover: the R320 "Stone Purple" is as dark as the inner part from the A1018s cover. This "Dark Plum Wine" seems to be a little more red than the R320 but they are almost similar.
I was surprised that you find it rare because I thought it is beside "Light Steel Blue" the most common color for A1018s. This shows us again that the spread of a color depends on the area.
The first time I noticed that when I started to watch eBay auctions from other european countries. While here in Germany "Beige Harmony" is a very rare color for the T20, you should take a look at France: every 3rd T20 is Beige Harmony, it's a usual color there.
Same with the T65: The typical color is "Cosmic Blue" and if you're lucky you sometimes find a T65 in "Polar Blue". If you look at Sweden they seem to have a lot of T65 in "Stardust Yellow".
Regards, r0sewhite
Btw: I still have some new covers in Plum Wine and also 2 or 3 complete phones that I have never checked because here they are not quite valuable. If someone is interested in a phone or cover, please write a PM.

Posted by BobaFett

Hi guys. I am selling my I888 World. Check the for sale listing Here
Posted by r0sewhite
Yes, it depends on the country. I just wonder if Ericsson didn't sell any phone to any country or if some colors simply didn't match the public taste in this country.
Posted by r0sewhite
Today a brother for my ziroccan golden T68 arrived:
http://www.e-zones.net/image961.php
On page 3 you can see something strange: This phones is truly a T68, it came boxed with all equipment and I compared the IMEI of box and phone. The box is a T68m-box, also the phone looks like an original T68m. I have seen T68m with "Sony Ericsson" labels before but they were all labeled as T68m while this one shows definately T68i. Might this have been a mistake by SE?
r0sewhite
Posted by batesie
The pictures are of a Lunar Grey T68? but its lovely condition, yes ive seen them with SE on the labels too. I think its as they were made around the time they merged companies...
Posted by r0sewhite
I know that they had Sony Ericsson Labels in the last periode just like the T39, but they still wrote T68m on the label as long as they produced the T68m. The label on the box shows T68m, the box itself is a T68m-box, the phone is a T68m so why did they write T68i on the phone's sticker?
Btw: It came with a T68i-software but this can be a normal update

interesting?
By the way a lovely collection you have there! You're very lucky, and the Hedvig is a gem
Posted by Coxy
Second that batesie.
Anyone know where I may be able to get a Hedvig? Price is no limitation.

Posted by batesie
set up alerts on ebay.de ebay.com ebay.co.uk etc for it, also post in the wanted forum here! they are very limited so you may have to wait some time...
Posted by r0sewhite
For finding a hedvig you have to be always and everywhere because most of them are sold as quickly as they appeared. Even ebay auctions sometimes disappear after a few hours because collectors and sellers settled on a buy-it-now-price.
I think personally that the key to get a hedvig is not the money but to be the first one.

Posted by BobaFett
huh, that pink looks very weird... one of the funniest thing is with gh337, that when u set alarm, it alerts u even no sim in he fone and its turned off.
Posted by bucheral
Nice to know, thanks! A propos...is it true that you have never seen a full working T65 babyblue version?
Posted by BobaFett

Flippin heck. Thats a lot of money. I am looking for a T66 as well as my girlfriends one broke. I am not spending that sort of money on one though.
Posted by batesie
so am i, but its apparently a Brand new and unused one so quite rare...
Posted by jcwhite_uk
I do have 2 T66's one grey and one Pink. The grey one wont turn on and the pink one cant get a signal and the volume switch is broken.
I dont mind if it is a grey or pink one that i get as I will just change the covers.
Also if anyone is interested, i am selling my A1018s that is in perfect condition and pictured HERE
Posted by r0sewhite
You could send me the pink T66 for repair if you like. In over 90% I am able to fix the signal problem because usually it is just the CPU which has to be resoldered. Replacing the volume switch is also no problem, I still have some. If the phone is in cosmetical good condition I think it's worth trying it because all you can loose is the shipping costs.
r0sewhite
Posted by BobaFett
t66 is do worth for that money, its very very rare, sadly the mentioned reception problem is a common illness at that model
Posted by r0sewhite
@Boba:
Yes, you're right. It is a typical problem. Fortunately it can be fixed easily because normally it is only the ball grid of the CPU which is broken. For someone with a hotair soldering station it's not more than a 20-minute job.
The bigger problem are the always-breaking volume switches. It's hard to get replacement parts and even if I still have some I don't know what to do if I'm running out of spare parts.

Posted by BobaFett
the pink was so rare, even in the past, when t66 came first out
Posted by batesie
well £78 is a fair price. even i had to limit myself to a price. shame good ones dont come up that often...
Posted by r0sewhite
@all: Could you help me completing my color table? For the following phone types I still miss the official color names:
- A2638sc
- I888 WORLD
- R190 Sat
- R290 Sat
Further more: Do the Hedvig colors have official names?
About A1018s: In 2 cases I found 2 different names for the same color. Which one is the correct name:
- Plum Wine or Bordeaux Red?
- Light Steel Blue or Ice Blue?
Thanks for helping me,
r0sewhite

I saw a few T68m's being sold quite a while after the i had been released that were brand new but had i software. They were sold through carphonewarehouse here in the uk.

Can you remember what they were labeled? I think, too, that my T68m/i must be one of the last that have been produced. One possibility is, that they were already produced but still in a quality assurance process after the production of the T68i has been started. However, it's a nice curiosity in my collection now.
