@aya it was amazing how many accesoires came with it, great support of ///

Posted by kooki
boba did u like the s700i u tested 2 days back/

Posted by BobaFett
@aya did u have ever problems with the reception? @kooki pls keep to topic! Thx.

Posted by vmunix
My phone has a code like 01W23 and I think it mean it was made in week 23 year 2001, the battery I can't tell, it's a BUS-11, here are the numbers: BKB 193 138/71 R3A, the phone is made in Sweden, and the batt in Jap. finish in Swed.
Anybody knows if the MCA-25 (cam) works with R520 ?

Posted by BobaFett
Actually the mca10 should work it, but i couldnt do the settings, cos my operator didnt support it. U can 5 pix store in it and send it to an email add.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: As a matter of fact, yes.D r380 had dodgy reception & audio often broke off during calls.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya it was unfortunately a general problem. @vmunix according your email i just can repeat myself, no idea if mca10 works or not. There is a server add at the settings in the cam, nobody could tell me how and what to set. Sorry.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: Besides dat,& d size, I enjoyed d r380s. Fell down & began to hiss permanently without impaired functionality. But it had to go some time later. However, since then,I've been a smartphone addict.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya i still use it as manager calculator, great to store detailed contact infos. Wish it would have gprs! What i dont like that i u can send contacts only one by one via irda, no send all option.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: No kidding. If it had gprs, it would have been a killer (though gprs was a mere dream here back then). I had my notes (plenty of em) on d thing.Of course, d built-in memory was very inadequate. Good phone, all d same.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya did u use the pen to write or the virtual keypad? I couldnt write with it, wasnt able to learn the way to input the abc

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: Attempted the handwriting recog & made some progress;but pefered 2 touch-type. Motorola A008's handwriting ecog & P800's jot are much much easier 2 use, in my opinon.

Posted by Ginz
Yeh, I've got 2 new BUS-10 batteries.

Posted by BobaFett
@ginz nice to see u again! Congrat for the batts! When was they made and where?

Posted by BobaFett
@aya its weird, that the batt indicator had less then 10 bars and standby/talk time wasnt displayed as usually. @all i usually wrote here, that bhc10 is a1200mah batt, sorry, it has 1400mah.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: my brother had a sleek T29, & it had dat talktime/standby time indicator which I loved. Was disappointed 2 find it missing on d r380.Another disappointment was lack of fax messaging.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya i miss also the option to check the voice recorder time and date. Cannot check how many time is left. Weird.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: really wierd on a phone so well featured 4 dat matter. Then I also wish d flip had been removable. That would have made it a bit more handy. But then again, there was that antenna!

Posted by BobaFett
@aya the removeable flip would be ok, but the aerial is a must, i couldnt imagine that fone without it.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: Why do u say so about the antenna?

Posted by BobaFett
@aya i do like aerials and those were a kind of label on /// fones. Next to those they look very elegant and well designed.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: True. /// aerials were a symbol. When u see one, u know its an ///. But in d case of r380s, d aerial meant I couldnt carry d phone in any pocket. In d long run, it was a small price 2 pay 4 d functional superiority of d phone

Posted by BobaFett
@aya i carry it usually in the leather holder what came with it, so it doesnt disturb me.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: what was it I did with my leather jacket? That's strange; have no recollection of dat.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya in r380 box were next to fone:charger, data cable, deskstand, leather holster, headset and 3 extra pens.

Posted by OluYom
@bobafett: Yes, had everything in there xcept d case.D dealer must have had it removed & I as too green & naive 2 check then. Who'd say I havent paid my dues.

Posted by BobaFett
@aya what a shame! Its a bit bigger then the one for 320 and 520, same style with the text and logo on it.

Posted by Ginz
@Boba,

They are both made in made in Japan, finished in Sweden. There is no productioncode on the battery like 04W02,

Posted by BobaFett
@ginz the dates sounds good. Did u tried them already?

Posted by BobaFett
@ginz charge them 2 or 3 times all night long after fully drain and keep them in full charged if not in use @kooki whats up with r320? @threex how is r250 @aya how did u like backlight in 380?

Posted by Ginz
Yes, about the charging, that's familliar for me. But about storing the batteries. As far as I know, I should be charged for about 40%. That's what been said to me by Sanyo (World biggest battery factory)

About the productioncode: I said: "There is no code on the battery"

Posted by binoblaine05
i miss my old t68i......

Posted by BobaFett
@all we have 50000 views here, in the /// thread. Its one of the most successful place inside esato, THANK YOU! THANK ESATO! THANK U ERICSSON! @ginz as i know the best way is full batt, cos of the li pol techn.

@bino- hmm . . .

is that an adriatic blue mixed with zirrocan gold casing?

though im have a spare adriatic blue and original T68m lunar gray casings, we have something in common.

im using a T68m, lunar gray (with T68m, no AT&t) casing mixed with zirrocan gold facia.

SW R8a.

to go with that, im still using the original blue and black ICT-14 leather holster

Posted by BobaFett
@captain how is the batt performance and any orig accesoires u use?

Posted by borg_

@kapitan jackal

Can you post a picture of your original blue and black ICT-14 leather holster, i'm curious

I want to buy one for my T68m, but i canīt find it

Posted by BobaFett
@borg nice to see u again! How is your t68m, condition, batt etc is it a swedish one?

Posted by senninha
@boba

i'm in the process of restoring my T39 to as close to new condition as i can get it. i've gotten a new housing but can no longer find a magnesium frame.

i was thinking of buffing and polishing the frame but wanted to ask you what the best way to do it would be. i can't afford to wreck it as i may not be able to find a replacement!

thanks!

Posted by BobaFett
@sen its a great idea to put a magnesium frame on t39 but i really donnow how to manage it. U would need an expert to fix it and notice, that the magn frame was the actually on the apart where the mainboard was screwed on, so its not just a simple belt on fone.

Posted by borg_
Hello Bobba

My T68m it's excellent the batt. last 5 days on stand-by 24h. For me that itīs great for a battery from 01W51 that's a good /// Li-Polymer Battery and the record was 7 days :shock:

The sticker from my T68m says Made in Sweden - 02W03, but it has the code 45, so it was manufactured in China :shock: by Sony Ericsson

In can't explain that

Posted by BobaFett
@borg yes, i saw such ones aswell, donnow the reason. The best are 51 or 61. The batt is pretty good as i see.

Posted by borg_
Now I only have to take my T39m to a Service Center, i have the no network problem ...

It's easy to solve that problem or i have to pay a lot of euros

The remaining functions are ok at 100%, only that *#**#* no network

Posted by BobaFett
@borg its the radio apart. Unfortunately a general problem in t39, hope they have a genius there, its very complicated to repair and a new apart is expensive.

Posted by borg_
So i see a lot of euros hum.

But i will repair my T39m, i love that phone

And itīs an ERICSSON ///

Posted by BobaFett
@borg respectable taste and behavour! Look, the apart must be replaced with another one, cos no other models one fits it. T66 suffer usually cos of the problem.

Posted by crowing
here's a bluury pic of my dad's t39mc.. my dad died a few months ago but his ericson lives to tell his tale...

Posted by BobaFett
@crowing thx! Do u use it aswell? How do u like it? Ps: sorry for your dad.

Posted by binoblaine05
@Kapitan Jackal

Posted by BobaFett
@bino thx for the pic and visit here. Which t68 u prefer, m or i? Any other /// fones u like or/and use(d)?

Posted by binoblaine05
@bobafett

Thanks for the warm welcome mate. Still, i stick with my ever reliable black P800. (damn...I can't afford to buy a P910! ) The Sony CMD series interests me much.

When it pours, it rains....
