This is odd.

What about these device? Havent seen much about them in this forum.
Ericsson made DECT phones and base stations. I am missing a few handhelds I think DT570 for example.
But I have the DECT230 and DECT260 (with recording possibilities) base-stations and the DT200 phone.

Posted by Stolleman
@torshammer
I could spare these if you are intrerested, I already have one or more of them
The batterey for DT570 is the same standard as S868, SH888 GH688 etc.

Talking about NOS:

Brand new T28 exchange unit.

Posted by torshammer
@103ssv Nice piece

@stolleman Thanks for the offer. I Will wait a bit. Might have some on the way.
Maybe more interested in the volume slides for the T36 proto. How to you attach it?

Have you guys been to the document lately? Someone has done some work there nicely.
I have added some too. There was someone there at the same time as me.
Tried ro start the chat. Didnt get any Response. Maybe it just was a random visitor.

@103ssv
Looks really good

@torshammer
You just click it in the right place in the right angle, hard to explain but very easy to do.

@all
Ericsson T18z exchange unit, with original antenna

Posted by bucheral
Hi everybody,

it is very nice to see all these nice phones, thanks for the pics. Our list gets more complete from time to time, hope we can see it with all infos filled in one day. once I have all infos needed, I will organize my collection new, I would like to make a professional thing, but this needs time and space, difficult to realize with my new born son at my side

waiting for my first KF model, KF688 from Canada

Posted by Stolleman
@bucheral
It's hard to find time for Ericsson but otherwise you have something more beautiful then Ericsson

@all
I got one more brick today I have to add in the list.
From the first time i knew these were pretty hard to find I wanted one and this is my first TEMS, ever
Condition is perfect, like new!

It's a genuine piece with those extra TEMS-menus.
Whats fun is that it doesn't have the black keyboard as the standard r520m Copper as you can see in the last pic.

Maybe I have to make a youtube-clip someday

Posted by Ginz

Another weekend, finlly time for another Ericsson treasure
A NOS chat pen:

Unfortunately labelled as Sony Ericsson
Clearly visble how they changed to original Ericsson logo to a plain light blue one!
[ This Message was edited by: 103ssv on 2012-03-10 11:53 ]

Posted by Stolleman
@103ssv
A Sony Ericsson could never be a Ericsson tresure.
I think you would not call a SE T68i or a SE T600 an Ericsson tresure

Not mine..

Posted by 103ssv
Hi

You're right.
I never knew there were even labelled ones out there.
And unlike the T68i did a very sloppy job to camouflage the chat pen's roots

Posted by torshammer
@103ssv The chat pen is nice.
@stolleman Wonder if the real thing exist?

I took a picture of my three palmtops. Here they are. MC12, MC16 and MC218.

Posted by Stolleman
The MC gang

Ericsson MC12, based on HP 320LX

Ericsson MC16, based on HP 360LX

Ericsson MC218, based on Psion 5mx

Posted by torshammer
@stolleman Nice boxes! I hope they are not empty.

Posted by Stolleman
About the chatpen, I don't know if the Ericsson excited but I think it did.
It's hard to find info on the internet about old Ericsson, many sites with pics and facts are long gone.

And yes of course all my Ericsson MC is complete in its original box with manuals etc

Changed in our database MC12 and MC16 to Made by HP, nothing more to update folks?

Nice collection

Here my new toy:

A Hotline from 1992!
Complete with muticharger and spare battery. Unfortunately not boxed but with books and other papers.

Posted by torshammer
@103ssv Nice hotline. I like them a lot. Did you use 2G SIM? I have not been able to get my older phones to work properly with newer SIMs. I now have a 32 kbyte 2G SIM but I think a 8 kbyte SIM would work better. What is your experience?

Posted by 103ssv
I use a simple prepaid simcard with no problems in all my Ericssons.
However I also have a brandnew Vodafone sim wich even my R290 has problems with: it turns itself off

Posted by Stolleman
@torshammer
From a swede to a swede, I use Comviq Kontant in my oldies and it even work perfect with Ericssons first GSM, the beautiful GH172

@103ssv
Hotline, it's something about it

Posted by 103ssv
It as a GH172 and from 1992 so really one of the first GSM phones.
And there seems to another problem with modern sim cards, they're slightly thinner nowadays.
I put i piece of foam between the battery and the tray to get it work on some phones.

Hi @all
I am missing one antenna for my Hotline combi 450. Do you know if there
is any special about them or if there should be specific requirements?

Se images below of antenna and the connector.

Posted by bucheral
@103ssv: very nice GH172 and still working, that's what I call longevity!
@torshammer: I am sorry, I do not know about the requirements for the Hotline combi antenna, I think I have the same antenna on my unit, it fits well

@all: here is my "new" KF688, this is my first Ericsson "K" fone, does anybody have an idea what "K" means?
More pics as always on my page....

Posted by torshammer
Here is one of my latest ones. NOS as it is called.

I have real treasures to show soon. Keep an eye on the thread.

Posted by Stolleman
@bucheral
Really nice KF688, if you want a second K Ericsson I have one to much KF788 i'm willing to trade

@torshammer
Great phone, one of few phones from Orbitel labeled Ericsson
[ This Message was edited by: Stolleman on 2012-03-16 09:59 ]

Posted by torshammer
@all
These are my three Ericsson ... labeled something else.
Martin Dawes, Bang&Olufsen, Sharp

[ This Message was edited by: torshammer on 2012-03-17 15:51 ]

Posted by Stolleman
@tosrhammer
Nice Martin Daves, do you know anything about them? seems hard to find anything about them on the internet.

@bucheral
What is the status on your Wakaba? does it work?

@all
Do anyone here collect Sony Ericsson too?

Posted by torshammer
@stolleman The spelling was not correct. It should be Martin Dawes. They sell CRM Solutions today but was a virtual network operator for the Enterprise segment in UK. Martin Dawes Solutions

I dont collect SE even if I have a lot. Xperia PRO beeing My daily companion.

Can you place calls with your oldies? Comviq kontant? Why does that work?

Posted by Stolleman
@torshammer
Oh okay, when searching Martin Daves I only found some folks on Facebook
If you find another Martin Dawes I would be interested.
Does your Sharp has the Sharp labeled battery?

I test almost every phone I have(except the locked ones) with my Comviq Kontant and even the old ones. I have made many calls on my GH172 with Comviq, why it works I can't answer, it just does work

Posted by Ginz
I also don't collect SonyEricsson, although I have some....

The most special SE which I have is a P5i Paris... And I was about to buy the Julie (SE running on WP7), but due to publicity on PocketNow the bidding raised upto 3000 euro and after that the auction was taken offline by the owner without a proper reason.

Posted by Stolleman
Do you own a Wakaba Ginz?

Posted by Ginz
Unfortunately not yet

Posted by torshammer
This is one of my latest treasures.

The Athena prototype. It is a FM-radio enabled phone with belt clip and extendable/retracktable cord to the headphone.

With the belt clip on

Back with belt clip

Belt clip removed

Front with the headphone extended a bit

Back without belt clip

Bottom. It looks like it is built using a T20.

And from side

Posted by Stolleman
@torshammer
Really nice Athena, does she work?

Posted by torshammer
@stolleman havent tried yet. It is supposed to work. It is number 92 as you can see on the back.
So it should be at least 91 around.

Posted by Stolleman
@torshammer
If you find one of those 91, I,m a PM away
Is the SIM-tray under the dock conector? If so, it's the same thinking as in Penelope.

Posted by bucheral
Hello again,

as you see on my page, I have some SE models, I wanted to sell them, but as SE has come to an end, I think I will keep them I recall some nice memories with these phones, for example the S700i what a big screen at that time

@stolleman: I have a big problem, I do not know where to go with all my phones, the glass cabinet is full, I had four phones in a row, that is ok, but five...it doesn't feel so special anymore when the glass cabinet is fully loaded. About the KF788, why not but I have to find more space. My KF688 is the first phone that has no place for the moment...

About the Wakaba: very nice phone, no scratches, but does not turn on But for me its not a problem, since it's a nice rarity, I would not even carry it around for making phone calls.

@torshammer: Wow, nice gadget, congrats

Posted by Stolleman
@bucheral
I'm right now looking for some cabinet for my Ericsson, at this moment all my phone is in it's original box or in a drawer
I know your problem, it would not look good if you forced in every phone in your glas cabinet but more phones then you have place for, you are a hardcore collector buch

Posted by bucheral
@Stolleman,

thank you!

so you have the original box for every phone? Oh my dear, I would need an entire house only for Ericsson.....but thinking about that is not even bad hihi

Posted by Stolleman
@bucheral
No I don't have boxes for every phone I own, my better half would not allow it
These are my boxed phones and a few accessoires, and yes there are some LM Ericsson oldies.
Down left are some other brands, I doesen't collect other phones but are they limited or special phones I have a hard time saying no if the price is right.

A house dedicated to Ericsson would be cool but I have to get more Ericsson to fill it up then and some posters too!

Posted by torshammer
@bucheral You have to get another cabinet. Or build a new house.

@stolleman Great with all boxed. But a cabinet is nice.

Posted by bucheral
@torshammer,

, yes build a new house, maybe in some years.... and then write on the letterbox instead of the family name, just ERICSSON

Here is another of my latest devices added to the collection.

A Julia - T35m very early prototype from the first runs. Not even Ericsson on it.
Very nice but with small buttons.

Front closed

Front closed from the other side

Sadly without the BT-box to connect it to the baseline.

But if someone's interested, you can make me an offer.

Hello to all you Ericsson lovers out there!

After a longer brake, I'm back again

I've been visiting the topic in the last couple weeks, and saw how fast growing it became! Very nice, I must say!

@torshammer: I just love the new protos you showed off! Wonderfull, congrats!

@stolleman: I myself collect Sony Ericssons as well. I have plenty of SE protos, if you are interested in trading or just swapping some info, just drop me a PM, as I know, that SE is not quite welcome in this thread.

@all: anyone interested in or collecting the ISA-12 covers for the A2618s? I think those are very nice, I have an almost complete collection! Will post some pictures if I get home.
