You have to give credit to Apple - their A11 chip is amazing, other than that i think that the S8/S8+ design is much more beautiful than that of the X.

I think Apple will clean up with this, I suppose its now a match for the Android flagships in terms of bezel size so when it comes down to performance it'll probably be awesome. The new A11 chips are supposed to be sensational. Even though the price is ridiculous I can guarantee that the demand for this will be insane. I'm glad to see that 4K recording comes at 60fps plus slo-mo at 1080p, these little things do make a difference. My gripe with this is the loss of the fingerprint scanner because that will always be better than any iris or face scanner.

At first I scoffed at the 64GB storage entry price. HXEF compression for pictures and videos needs to be seen just how much storage is saved! Should've been 128GB but with a $300US difference most of the IPX sales will be for 256GB storage.
It's not for everyone - I'll wait until next years refinement.
BUT Apple spending advertising costs on animoji POOP in a commercial? FRAKIN' STUPID!
At least the deisgn is refreshing, even with similarities to the Essential phone. Cannot imagine just how much money Essential LOST with late production and shipping woes!!

Samsung, LG, Huawei and Google are not doing enough to take advantage of the delays, they all have better devices out but they just aren't doing enough to leverage on the people waiting for the X.

I highly doubt even 40 million units will be pre-ordered or sold.
I find it VERY interesting that the Apple 4th Quarter 2017 results begins November 3rd - the very FIRST day of iPhone X Shipment, while Pre-orders starts at 12:01 a.m. PDT on 10.27.2017. Supply constraints when preparing for a device for years in advance .... yeah Apple ALWAYS does this to invoke HYPE and PRESTIGE!

Hi everyone,
I have an iPhone SE mobile and I would like ask your help how can I increase the quality of the photos in lower light condition? Coz it made very grainy pictures.
I prepared a picture yesterday with my wife SONY XA phone and I re-activated my old Sony Ericsson C901 (which is a 9years old phone) to compare the quality of the pictures. Below you could see the zoomed photos:
As you can see even my almost 10years old phone can take more clear picture :S:S
I cannot belive that manufacturers cannot improve the quality of the camera in the last 8-9 years :S

You're a limited user so you couldn't create your own thread.
1. clean your lens ensure no scratches as it looks very oily.
2. ensure your flash is set to automatic. press and hold to focus on your subject and you can change the balance (star icon just outside of the focus box on the screen).
3. look for 3rd party apps on App Store.
4. Start search macrumors.com > Forums > iPhone /or/ > Forums > iOS Apps
You'd probably be better served there for your iphone needs since Esato is a Sony, SonyEricsson forum and heavily based on Android.

Nobody knows ANYTHING of the lighting, time of day, air quality of the picture you've posted. Trust me no 9 yr old
phone can compete with an iPhone SE. I've taken pictures on an iPhone 6S - uses the SAME camera as the SE.
