Does any of u guyz know how 2 go about setting up my PC 4 free browsing/dwnloading using proxy servers like t9space, chinagrow, gowingo, 1h1, torproxy etc.
What APN settings should i be using when using my fone as mdm?

Try ths 1:
set the freesite as ur homepage in ur browser's settings (am talking abt opera) then under network settings place the webproxy like 1h1.net or other webproxies and click home icon, then, that's it.
if u want 3rd party apps (tunneling apps) like toonel, your-freedom, etc. just download it under aquared29's thread. (1st page)
I have not yet tried running operamini on desktop/laptop using JRE but hope this could help your problem in free browsing. It is also capable of downloading. For downloading large files, use those tunneling apps in aquared's thread, it's easy to install and use.

hmm.. if the ip trick works on you try this. You have to use the OperaMini HandlerUI132 on your phone.

aning, that om42hui132 can d0wnload 40mb, while the php trick has 90mb i think. its great when u have ur ph0ne set t0 3g for fast d0wnloading.

Hey MSYPOURS
Ok here you go, do exactly what I say:
1) download Opera mini 5 beta handlerUI132. If you don't already have it.
2) Make sure that the internet profile you are using is called "vlive" and not "internet.vodacom". If you don't have "vlive get it by dialing *111# and then go to device setup and select "WAP" not "Internet".
3) Open up OM 5 handler
4) Custom http server: http://live.vodafone.com.server4.operamini.com:80/
5) Front query: live.vodafone.com.t9space.com/power/s/http/
6) The rest should be blank, except socket, leave it as it is.
7) Then click ok and wait for installing/ loading.
Then in OM go to settings>advanced>protocol and make sure it is "HTTP".
THEN BROWSE! (and download of course) If it is free, cool! If it isn't, ask here:

@Leodusme -> Get JADMaker & use it to generate jad files from jar files. Just make sure u put the .jad & .jar files in the same folder before running the jad app.

Did u create yo connection manually or are u connecting via a fone management software like Nokia PC Suite?

@krazy - i'm connecting using one of those 3G Vodafone Modems. But I also do have Nokia PC Suite with the connectivity cable. But what difference would it make?

What i know is just connect ur phone to your pc using usb data cable, if the pc already detected your phone,
open your Nokia Pc Suite
click Connect to the Internet
a window will pop-out
One Touch Access
click setting
select Manual
input your APN
leave the username & p.w blank
finish wait until it says connected
then goto your pc browser
IE,firefox,opera or whatever
edit its proxy setting
if your using cellc,
you can apply ip trick the same to your phone.
Ex.
Proxy address: smokeflower.com
port: 80
then browse
www.mxit.co.za/dahr.php
if your using vodafone
use your default ip in the proxy address
then browse:
live.vodafone.com.1h1.net
or this
live.vodafone.com.myproxy.ca
