As the title says, I wonder how. I set the default Clarity theme and the background of Media Player becomes gray. When I create my own theme, it becomes black with white fonts. But, to my surprise, with my another theme I make, the font becomes pink. Then, I applied Floral theme of Z750i, the background is pink flower wallpaper with pink font. I just don't know which elements of Themes Creator that contribute much in this case. Anybody can enlighten me a bit about this?

To control te colour schemes of the media player you need to:
- create every other aspect of the theme you want using theme creater then save it to a .thm file
- change the .thm extension to a .tar extension (to view the file extension in windows you may need to change the folder viewing otions)
- using a .tar extractor/complier app, extract the .xml file from the theme.tar and open it in notepad
- edit the hex code colours near the bottom of the .xml sheet in notepad and save (you can find the appropriate colour codes ver easily if you google it)
- recompile the .tar with all the other files
- rename the file extasion to .thm
That should sort you out. If you need .tar apps you can google them quite easily. There are plenty of free or unlimited trial shareware apps out there.

Ok lets take things simple because i found it
Download WinRar
Select the theme>open with>winrar>extract to> ok
there you have a folder with the theme contents
find theme.xml which has everything you want..
take a look what it has

media walkman particle colour that is what you want right click theme.xml edit then change what you want..
and then download 7zip (you can use to extract from the start)
and compress them all to a tar file and then just change the extension to .thm!!
You can Also edit many others like media backround..

Have a look for the program TUGZIP and 7Zip for decompiling and recomiling. You might also find this thread useful. It doesn't talk specifically about editing the media player colour scheme but talks about the compiling/decompiling process. If you PM me your email address and I will send you one or two useful files.

The problem with the corrupt .thm files is because you've not used tugzip to recompile the .tar before changing the extension back to .thm. You can download tugzip from www.tugzip.com and 7-zip from www.7-zip.org. Hope this helps.

I believe tugzip is what you need to compile the .tar. That's what I used the one time that I did this a couple of weeks ago.

OK here is the COMPLETE guide on how to do that because we confused a bit the things..
1. Download tugzip from http://www.tugzip.com
2. Install it and locate the theme file you want to edit
3. Open Tugzip and click the box icon (second) to open the theme
4. Make sure All Files (*.*) is selected
5. Open the theme file you want
6. Select all the files in the archive and right click extract
7. Extract them somewhere
8. Locate the extracted files select theme.xml right click>edit
9. Add these lines (If they don't exist, If they exist go to the next step)

13. Right Click> Add to...
14. Save the theme anywhere you want
15. Change extension to thm
16. Send to phone!!

I managed to change a predesigned theme so that the media player colours were different. I did this on a PC using the above method as I couldn't get anywhere using dropcopy and stuffit on my Mac. The method is very tedious anyway. I can't believe that the SE themes creator doesn't have the capability to change the media player. Incidentally, in the demo tour movie that came with the K850i, it shows the media player with a green background, yet non of my original themes had this colour.
Can anyone recommend how to change the media player colours/animation etc on the Apple Mac?

I am trying to find but all i find are compatible with linux and not with mac...

I remember on older
phones it's something they specifically didn't want people to play with. I think it's because they're trying to keep the Media Manager side of the phone as recognisable as possible to help with branding and a feel of consistency across the range. I wouldn't hold your breath on them including the media player colour customisation in the next Themes Creator.
The green background in the demo vid might come with a green theme on the green K850 perhaps and then they used that in the video put it on all the phones to save production costs. It'd make sense because the blue themes wouldn't suit the green phone.

Read the post of Ricky D and nivo22. They have given good briefing about how to customize the media player.
Keep in mind that you need the archive the files into *.tar NOT *.rar, and them rename to *.thm. Once you have done this, my suggestion is try to open this file with Themes Creator. If everything works fine, you can then test it on phone.

If you apply a couple of themes off the newest Walkman phone (Not the 910i, the non-slidy one with the 3.2mp cam) and you play music and minimise the media player on the K850i, you get a feature usually only available on Walkman phones, where the background dances to the music and shows you the title.. although it's terribly laggy

I've tried a few different themes and the colour of the bubbles at the side will not change :@, They only go white and blue. Any suggestions?

Download this theme and send it to your K850i, then go to the Media Player.
It is possible to change almost any text color in the MP; and from now non they will REALLY match the theme's appearance.
