KDDI Japan has released INFOBAR2 concept phone,continuing its simple style from the first version last year.

The first INFOBAR phone has been available in Japan for a while now and has proved to be a huge success with consumers there.Although the colourful design may not be to our conservative european tastes,its unique style does make this stand out from the crowd.
Due to the cutting edge and rather eccentric design of the Inforbar KDDI has announced new updated concept which will be a new updated version.
Here is how kddi are describing the INFOBAR 2:
"The innovative INFOBAR features a distinctive shape,The shape,fits perfectly in one's hands and goes smoothly into a pocket.The evolution of INFOBAR is synchronous with a gradual change of machines taking on the characteristic of human roundness.
The smooth and lustrous single surface of INFOBAR has operation keys of various colors and a display screen. All of which are elegantly placed in harmony with each other. INFOBAR has a newly established style that differs from that of other mobile phones. It is now a regular bar type information device loved by people thanks to its easy operation and excellent portability. INFOBAR2 has all new functionality and maintains the much-loved style of the original."

I've just been looking at this on another site. I love this phone , it's a real beauty ( White and silver versions ). I just don't get the multi coloured keypad, that's just Bad !

I think i like the first version more than the new one, yet i should say Naoto Fukasawa is a design genius for sure....

I think i would agree with that,the first version is much more original in its design and features.
The new one isn't quite on the same level of superior design.
