They are great on Theme Creator-dunno on M600-haven't got it yet. I downloaded the M600 themes a week ago from Fun&downloads section..what a complicated chain of images..

The default ones from the SE website are alright, I prefer the Default one myself. Downloaded them using my W900i (unlimited data on T-Mob UK) and had to manually change the ext from thm to utz for my M600i to recognise them. Not sure if that's how they downloaded or my W900i changed them! lol

This is my first Symbian smartphone, but I think the themes is "normal".
(with normal I mean like on my old K750 and so on).
The ones provided with the M600 is rather ugly (except the "Default" like Marc_SE also thougt was nicest.)
So if anyone would like to create a nice stylish scandinavian-designed theme I would be very happy!

There is something wrong in the preview. The blue select list is supposed to be another colour. Check the real thing, once they are uploaded. Trying to find a better place to upload them.
A tip: Did you know that you can change the icons in the today view. I have no way of taking screen dumps, but with Windows Vista Icons, it looks really cool.

Really good show man !...
Like the Mac theme except for the fact that some of the text ends up unreadable.. (black border of text with back fill etc.)
Vista also good... just difficult to read some of the menus due to colour being too light...
apart from that great job.. keep going ! (any chance to fix the above issues as a phone must be 'readable'?)

Ok.. tried the new Apple version 2... and I am sorry to say, that it is no better.
If fact when using the menu and scroll wheel you can't read the item you are on at all. (white on white etc.)
The Vista version two does not seem much different.
Can you not check them out , or do they look ok on your phone ?
What are you using to create these themes ? Would like to try myself...

Ok.. downloaded the Theme generator software...
Not at all clear.....
Tried geenerating a sample... and the text in the generator and what it turns out on the phone are not the same.... need to play a bit more?
I now appreciate how hard you must of worked creating those samples....

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out. On your vista theme with the grass, the text for when your on a call is black, but seems distorted. The number and the time duration and time is black with a black outline I believe. It makes the text really harsh looking and it just doesn't look right. If you could tell me at what tab it is under the theme creator, I could try fixing it myself and it would be a great help for future reference. Any help on this would be great

So far the only changes I've made are the text from the today screen/ It is now white with a gray trim. I've also changed the Title Bar under the AppLauncher on Theme Creator, the normal text is now Grey with a black shadow, it makes it look a little three dimensional on the phone. I hope you don't mind. The only thing left I want to change is is the way the text shows up when your typing the recipient's address when making an email, I'd like it show up white with a gray trim. Could you tell me where in theme creator I can find that portion to edit? Thanks again

@lucas, I have some feedback now on my BTTF theme complete with some screen shots
the first looks great
except the white on the highlited icon
in the second you can see the main menu but the highlited icon appears white around the icon picture rather than taking on the appearance of the background (transparancy?)
next is the tools menu where again the highlited option is in white and virtually unreadable
and finally a dialogue, in this case the more menu of file manager, where again most options are virtually unreadable
I hope you don't mind this feedback and I also hope there is something you can do about these as it really is a good theme otherwise

For me, I'm in the U.S. which doesn't have M600. So, when I went to the SE WAP site, I had to change my location to the U.K. Also, make sure your the phone type is set to M600. Don't try to get the themes from "My content", it doesn't work. Just go directly to the theme by clicking on themes and then selecting the one you want. Since at this point your phone is set to M600 and your location to one that actually has the phone you should only see the themes for M600 and it should be easy to find the one you want. Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
I do have a data connection with no problems. I can download all other data files (eg ringtones etc..) but not themes. Someting regarding protecteddata comes up and then the phone can not connect..Very weird..

Hi Lucas.... just in case you did not know... the messanger Theeme you posted up on Mobile9 contained XMl and all the gifs but no Install file ?
OK.. understand now... UTZ is a normal ZIp file. (You can open it in windows etc.) It contains the graphics and the XML code to control the Theme.

Can anyone else with R3A004 check whether they can download any themes from the SE site (specifically the black anf white ones) - I am wondering whether it is either a firmware or SE WAP site issue, but not sure which. If others can download the themes fine then I might try a master reset to see if that sorts it.

well i downloaded the black theme. How i did it was first open the wap site in ur phone and download the file called dd or something
Save this file and open it on ur pc with notepad.In the notepad u will be able to see a link which goes like www.sonyericsson.com/fd/o3/black_m600.utz or something
now paste this is ur phones browser and download it. Its a 230 kb file i know its a tedious process but thats the only way to download the theme called black.But trust me its worth all the trouble
