A company named Biuzzirk Mobile has manufactured Special Edition, 24-Karat Gold,triple-plated Nokia 8801's that they will present to the nominees at this year’s Emmy Awards.

The 8801's innovative design features a 24k gold case that slides open to reveal phone's keypad. Reinforced glass protects a stunning 208 x 208 LCD that supports a whopping 262,000 colors. When the phone is in the open position, a five-way center button above the handset's dial pad controls most of the phone's functions. Sliding the case open also reveals an SVGA (800 x 600) camera that is housed on the rear of the phone. Meanwhile, an internal antenna means there's nothing to snag in your pocket. Charging is handled by a port on the bottom of the device.

The Nokia 8801 weighs 4.82 ounces and measures 4.21 x 1.77 x 0.63 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3 hours of digital talk time, and up to 192 hours of digital standby time. It runs on the GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1800/1900 frequencies. buzzirkmobile
