Samsung D600 Wins Handset Of The Year At The Mobile Choice Awards 2005

Commenting on Samsung's success, one panelist said: "The D600 has everything we were looking for in this category. Available in stores from October 2005, the D600 builds on the elegant slide-up design, first seen in the highly successful D500, and is packed with advanced features for modern life. It includes A2DP functionality which allows users connect to an audio system and enjoy their music via a Bluetooth headset, a file viewer, TV output support, a two megapixel camera with flash, video recording and messaging, Bluetooth, and a full-bright 2.0" QVGA LCD screen. It also features external memory, e-mail, syncML connectivity, an enhanced voice clarity speakerphone and an MP3 music player.

The judging panel concluded that the D600 is "a great all-round handset. It's an ideal size, great design and has some terrific features for those on the go."
