Right guys,
Well im new to all of this

I recently got my self a C510 thinkin it would have the facebook app on it!
Ive readd everything i could on this site
and tried everything suggested

ive seen a lot of people have suggested re flashing it or de branding the phone
but the main problem is, i have a clue how to

so if any of you great people, could help me and run me through it step by step
i would really appreciate it!

If you're prepared to pay to debrand your phone then visit one of the official sites such as davinciteam.com or have a look this thread.

CDA/ Generic CDA
what is it?

The CDA is a code held by the phone that identifies which country and which type of firmware was on the phone when you purchased it.

This is so that when you plug the phone into Sony Ericsson's Update Service, the system can tell what firmware - branded or otherwise - to update your phone with.

By changing the CDA on your phone to a generic one, you are basically 'fooling' SEUS into thinking you have a generic phone. Thereafter, it will install a generic fw onto your phone.

Naughty but Nice.

Your job is to find a generic CDA that you know for sure has the FB app, change the cda, then update your phone with SEUS.

have just recently bought a sony ericsson C510. i loved the idea of having the youtube and facebook applications. i bought a tesco branded version but unfortunately without knowing that this version does not come with those apps.
