 | @ Kwiksta,
Here's T-Mobile's PAYG 'Web n' Walk' terms and condtions:

"Compatible handset required. £1 maximum daily charge applies to Mates Rates, Everyone and Text Appeal customers. Charges of 0.73p per KB applies until £1 per day (midnight to midnight) is spent. If you have already spent £1 and you browse for a continuous period from before midnight to after midnight, all of that period will be charged at the new day's rate of 0.73p per KB. Not applicable to connection via CSD. Additional charges apply for use outside the UK.
Fair use policy applies. To ensure a high quality of service for all our customers, the web 'n' walk service is not to be used for other activities such as (but not limited to): modem access for computers, internet based video/audio streaming services, peer to peer file sharing, internet based video downloads and internet based telephony. If such use is detected, notice may be given, after which network protection controls may be applied which will result in a reduced speed of transmission."

He who laughs last... thinks slowest.Nokia 5800, Sony Ericsson P1i, Nokia 7600.

 | It says in the small print - compatible phones only. From what I could see, the compatible phone list didn't include any SE phones. Do you NEED to have a "compatible" phone? Surely any phone supporting GPRS is compatible! |

 Yes.
£1 / day is the maximum they'll charge you. Great if you use your phone for your pc internet too.
@jonat8 Yes thats exacly what it means. Any phone with GPRS.

 | One more question, is the T-Mob Web 'N' Walk on PAYG an Internet service, i.e. e-mail and IM as well as web pages. Or is it just HTTP only?
My new M600i is coming tomorrow and I'd love a decent data service to go with it.

 Thanks

 | I don't think you can use your phone as a modem via PC. It saids so in the small print. You have to use it on your phone. |

 | Orange also do a similar deal, £1 for "unlimited" access for a day. However unlike T-Mobile, you have to opt-in every day, so even if you don't use £1 worth of access, you still get billed the whole £1. |
