this does work well on the P990 though I find the content is a little limited

Unfortunately it doesn't work on the TyTN. It installs fine but when running I cannot find how to activate the soft keys to make it do stuff.

However, I much prefer Avantgo on WM5 which gives me most of my travelling time reading material. I wonder if they will provide a UIQ3 version although I never really had much success with the UIQ2 version on the P910

I seem to be having a problem with mine. When I click on the 'get new mobizines' tab, it goes on line to search for some new ones but doesn't seem to find any.

The only way I seem to be able to get new ones is to download them via Opera mini but that includes a whole new version of of the reader and it replaces the original mobizine.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi there - I've been searching all morning for a solution for this same problem with my BBC Mobizine...
(Got it on my N70 - the news is REALLY good)

So I did the obvious thing (only after finally realising I wouldnt be able to fix it myself) and I (very begrudgingly!) emailed them and asked them about it...
..and not only did they come back to me super-quick (like within minutes - and no crappy automated reply either!) but they solved the problem for me too.

Basically - because the BBC is the BBC it can't do adverts.
Which MEANS that if you sign up to BBC Mobizines you won't get the option to choose other mags. (I think they called it a closed group?).

Anywhoo - if you email them they'll sort it out for you... (help@mobizines.com)
OR - text 'mobi timeout' to 63333 and that'll change your group from BBC to Timeout... apparently!
That's what I was told anyway!

They did mine for me manually without me having to send a text..

But yeah - I'm just downloading all sorts of stuff - there's SO many!
Total Film and Football365 being the two I've got so far..
Hmm - Maxim next I think!

EDIT:
I've just found this on their website:

(in Help/FAQs)

"I downloaded BBC or ITV as my first Mobizine – why can’t I get any others?"

If you already have the BBC or ITV Mobizines but cannot see any other Mobizines, that’s because they’re in a ‘closed group’ of Mobizines. To open your mobile to other Mobizines, simply send a text for another Mobizine (eg Mobi Timeout) to 63333 and follow the usual steps to install Mobizines. This should allow you to see all the Mobizines available INCLUDING BBC and ITV. Remember, this will cost you nothing except the standard price of the text message.

So yeah - I was right!

One of the lucky ones!

I think - by the looks of their FAQ thingy - it only occurs if you download BBC or ITV only..

*shrug*

But yeah - Popp Matters?
Which one's that?
