@duran
...... explain this light sensor to the front of the phone how effective it is or does it work any at all
With your phone out of standby put your finger over the sensor. After a while the screen will dim slightly. Remove your finger and it will go brighter again.
It's a nice feature but it doesn't dim enough IMO. (should be configurable) |

Am afraid yes, since the CID is still 52 not 53. We are still at risk.
I don't see what this have anything to do with the issue - BRODs did NOT occur on pre 031 firmware and the CID on those was also 52. Explain? |

my R1DA038 has just died :/
2 hours ago another random reboot caused something very similar to BROD: when I tried to turn on my K850, it stopped at the moment when SE logo appeared on the screen - I tried to fix it by removing the battery and finally (after few trials) it turned on!
then I decided to do a master reset - the phone turned off and now when I try to turn it on, the only thing I see is: "PLEASE WAIT" and after few secs the screen turns black!
anybody had same prob?
Check out this thread I had a few months ago:

Pretty much the same problem but I was able to fix it via SEUS by re-flashing the R1DA037 or whatever the firmware was back then

I don't think it is available yet. You should probably wait for a few more days/weeks. |

I have a strong feeling that startup time has significantly reduced, now my phone turns on really fast after flashing from R1EA031 to R1EA037. Is it only me or not? mwarner did not mention it in the topic first post, I didn't notice somebody talking about this either. |
