Although i haven't been a member here for very long i've read a lot about members such as Axxxr, JoJo and Bobafett and by the looks of things they have left a lasting impression on esato and the other members do seem to miss them a lot as well.

Its the same for me, when i registered all those years ago i only needed help with my k500i at the time, i didnt see me self comming back. But before i clicked the X in the corner and forgot about the site for ever, i has a little look around and some posts and something made me fall in love with this site. I was on here every night without fail. I suppose it has changed as i come here for hold now but i agree is has changed, but then.

What i do miss is the news, it seems like the homepage is updated like very 6 months or so. Axxxr kept the new fresh.

Most of the activity on Esato these days comes from either the rabidly pro or anti iphone brigade, painful to watch and tedious beyond toleration IMO.

perhaps they are the topics you mostly look into or focus on because from my view, most activity is in the SE forum discussing the various phones, and also in the software, firmware and drivers forum discussing improving camera and audio drivers, and patches in general, followed closely by people discussing free texting and web access (quite a few of whom are in the asia pacific forum), and also Moroccan members.

only a minority of topics seem to mention the iphone compared with all the other topics actively being discussed

anyway, its good to see alot of old names popping up here. just goes to show some people just can't stay away

edit: perhaps we should call this topic the "old boys club"!
