@all k-jam users, i have a query about the device.
Hope you all will help me out here.
Hows the video playback of the device on playing high bitrate videos?
I read a review of k-jam on http://www.the-gadgeteer.com which noted that it cant play high bitrate videos smoothly...
Is it really true?
Hows the video playback you all are getting?
Thanks in advance!

I play videos which I have made at 600-800 kbps and they play smoothly

I don't think you need much higher than that for quality on screens the size of the k-jam etc

I find slight drops in speed but nothing too irritating.

Here is some additional information about video playing at K-jam:

Quote from mobile-review.com:
"The productivity performance depends greatly on graphical accelerators and Wireless MMX". It means, you should use program, which support Wireless MMX, The Core Pocket Media Player, for example.

And here is video performance comparison (K-Jam is HTC Wizard):
http://www.mobile-review.com/[....]iew/image/htc/wizard/tcpmp.png

100% performance means that the movie was played smoothly in average without dropped frames, however there might be dropped frames in active scenes.

Best regards,
Tim.

There's NCP & Lexar....Sandisk is good ..but a bit more expensive than the others I mentioned, from my experience in Mumbai... NCP is the cheapest....you should be able to get a 1 GB card in the range of 3 to 3.5k... 2 GB for around 5k
