I would have liked to see the Xenon flash implemented ala K800i.
|
|
Yeah, would've seemed quite logical to me, but then again, it might just be to close in specs to the K800...

Seeing how have named the K800i as the flagship of its imaging phone, the above phone with a 3.2mp cam would be stealing the K800i's thunder.

Well, SE have been doing for a while (K700>K500), and I can imagine the product line progressing like the phones. W800 > W550 > W900 > W300 etc.

I am wondering what this new phone will bring to the table as far as new tech is concerned and also, what will it have that the K750i doesn't?

Main thing is QVGA screen, 3G, D-pad, and web browser button. I also think the build quality is improved. Should be a nice competitor to the 6233.

@3GSM will be going right now.
10 hrs ahead or so they are.
There is no video-calling camera on this phone is there?
Of course that doesn't mean it won't be 3G or have EDGE.
Mobile review will have some coverage of 3GSM I would imagine.

There is something puzzling me about these pics.
If shows the fastport on the side of the handset.
If this is a real phone then how would a handset with the fastport on the side make use of the stands that are available - like the CDS-60?
I can't think why....unless this is a pre production mock up for testing.

It could just lay on its side. Maybe it'll have a special function which allows it to be operated horizontally.
And this could also point to signs of some new accessories. Special ones to suit Cybershot phones, or even just the new generation of SE phones (don't ask me what though)
BTW, the fastport is on the left hand side for those of you who don't know...

really, fast port on the side dont make much sense, even for the headphones. Every time u put your phone with headphones attached to it in you pocket its gonna snap out. Bad design for an outdated phone. |

Also, if the version is coming out then how would it make use of all those nice speaker ports and all that?
Very strange?

images of the rumoured new 2mp cybershot phone pictured on page 3 here and shown at se-nse.net, have now been removed from the se-nse thread regarding this phone.
SE lawyers must have gotten involved ;-) |

Lucky I saved them to my hard drive
Well, as I've already said, I think that the fastport placement has something to do with acessories and more specifically ones for the Cybershot phones. I have no idea what though, but they could just be general accessories as well. Make use of the horizontal screen orientation...
But it could just be to be different.

Companies just make changes to their products you know people, im sure there is a reason for the fast port being located there |

ooooh! the lawyers have had a go at laffen!
are quick these days. At least our quick thinking friend there has saved them onto his hard drive in case of emergencies
Good stuff!
Who knows what this is to be called? K550i? It won't be a K6XX as they are all 3G.

Well apparently this will be 3G.
a) Competitor to the 6233 which is 3G.
b) And Eldar says it is the K800, with a worse camera.
I'd call it a K650. What do ya think?
