in the username and pass, put the GPRS username and pass,
( eg
Username:payandgo
Password:password)
also EVERYTIME you restart you comp. the boxes in "phone connection link" (in your taskbar) get ticked, always open it and UNTICK ALL THE BOXES, (so none are ticked) hopfully this should help

will give it another try not sure it will work coz it seems to be a hard ware problem not an authentification problem , the pc is not even dialing through the phone something seems wrong with the setup but cant figure out where |

yea, the hardware problem is usally due to the "phone connection link" boxes being ticked thats what mine was anyway |

you need to have a pay as you go o2 sim the best i can say is if you look at the previous topics you will be able to know which one to get i am also pretty new too this forum as you can probably see but i am really loving it free is good for real |

The settings can be found here
you need to go to internet explorer and select Internet options > Connections.
Select settings for the o2 connection and enter those settings into the proxy box.
thats all, you should be able to browse now.

I think if you want the free gprs you need the 300 texts a month sim, which are the genie chips, and prefferably the 07871 number as ive got that and it gives me free texts, picture messaging and internet
No need to fear steady is here! |
