that "activation regected" messege simply means there is O2 Network "downtime" which means the O2 server is not on, or being updated, or to many users online, or whatever... but the point is O2 wont let join the GPRS network at that time, ( that just life) just keep trying and eventualy you should get on, i would reccomend checking your username and password in your settings, they should be as follows:
Username: payandgo
Password: password
im using the free GPRS connection now, as my computers internet connection |

there is already a big discussion about the o2 free GPRS. it should be on the first few pages of this forum and is titled 'O2 FREE GPRS - WORKS FOR ME ON P900....' Post in there i think you will get a better response but read it first because the problem you are having is discussed in there

instrucions are on page 172 of the p910 instruction manual, anyway, (assuming you are using windows xp and usb sync-station) in control panel on your computer, install a new modem,
in the sony ericsson p900 series select serial modem,
then in your p910 goto control panel, the connections tab then cable the select the button "modem"
then double click the "phone connection link" in the taskbar of your computer, and untick all the ticked boxes press ok (or somthing simimlar)
then go into C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Mobile\Dial-Up Networking Wizard and open phone settings and it should guide you though it enjoy
the speed is comparablie to dial, however there are some "cookie issues" when on O2 free GPRS |
