I emailed them because it sounded like they'd forgotten about me since I didn't get any order confirmation, they replied with this:
Dear Jason,
Thank you for contacting O2 Customer Service.
I am sorry you did not receive a confirmation of your order for a Sony Ericsson K800i.
Your order (gm-*********) for a Sony Ericsson K800i was successfully placed on 20 June 2006. The Sony Ericsson K800i is currently in stock. I have forwarded a request to dispatch your order as soon as possible.
You should receive the order within three to five working days. When your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email to confirm this.
You can then track the progress of the delivery of your order using our delivery agent's (DHL) website.
You will need to click on the following link:
http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking/
Then, click on the 'Consignment' tab. Here, you will need to enter your order number (gm-*********) and then click on 'Submit'.

Just spoke to o2, they are now saying that they are out of stock and the original batch has been sold completely. I ordered mine at 11.00 yesterday and have been told that I will not be getting one until the next load of stock comes in (next week sometime).
I think that this is poor as I was promised that they would have enough stock for anyone wanting one yesterday as long as you did call yesterday.
So anyone ordering after 11.00 yesterday be prepared to be dissapointed....... |

I've just got off phone with CPW, they only became available on upgrade today, mine will arrive tomorrow 
I also got offered %25 on an M2 2G memory stick at 129.99..... I didnt think they were even out yet, unless he got it mixed up with a 1gig stick, which is an astronomical price.
Managed to get a decent deal too. Im a happy boy with Mr CPW now
CPW website doesnt show it as an upgrade yet, but if you want to take out a new contract it says in stock, only voda are out of stock.

I've PM'd you - sorry to the others for reading this little disagreement.
@Ja99iE: hope you get it mate, as when i upgrade with o2, after getting the DHL code, it came in 2 days - so maybe it'd be with you for Saturday....
@Minstrel_Man: thanks for that info - i'll give them a call - yeah i thought the 2GB cards weren't out either... plus the 1gb cards are less than half that price - so that couldnt be right....

@Ja99iE: I got that same email yesterday. I'm sure it's just automated, as it didn't answer and of my questions.
O2 are really starting to do my head in. I ordered my phone on the 26th(OK late on the 26th at 21.00) and still haven't had it. And others who ordered yesterday have there's?? Really doesn't seem fair. |

the 1 gig ones are less than 40 notes....
then again he didnt really know what he was on about because when i asked him how much the memory sticks were he gave me prices for M2 and MS Duo.... fool!
they are still charging 99.99 for 1gig MS DUO's no wonder they offered me %25 discount. |

A nice woman at o2 said that she would re-send the order back to the warehouse and now the Order Status is: Order Sent for Fulfilment.
Hopefully it's sent out today!!
She also said the k800i's were in in stock today and there is a huge back order on them.

Got my O2 one from CPW next to my office today!
Minimal branding, no startup or shutdown screen. Only an O2 theme and shortcut to O2 portal in the menu.
I've put up some pics on my Flickr page comparing handset to my other ones (M600i, W900i, W800i) as well as some photos I took this afternoon.

Thats the first O2 phone that I have seen with branding from a cpw shop. isnt it strange that cpw have the stock (I was told on monday that cpw had stock then) of o2 branded phones before o2 themselves.
Please tell me that yours in unlocked. Mine arrives tomorrow and I want to use it on voda as well as o2.

I haven't tested it myself, but my mate got the other handset they got into today (2 only).
He's tested his Orange chip no probs, so I'd imagin it's unlocked! |
