that program called M3 (i think) which a user on here developed worked flawlessly on phones. all the audio/video settings were already set up. so all you had to do was select the resolution you wanted to convert to. great app!
though he seems to have dissapeared
would love for him to make an updated version for the newer models.... the resulting video playack quality was perfect with his app!

Hi everyone,
Out of interest why (unless your phone won't play any other format or you're sort of space) are people still using 3gp?
Mp4 is so much better, it has improved audio and video!

My vote has to go to Mysh's M3 (It's FREE) and produces amazing results!
Here is the latest version

You need .net framework version 2 for M3 to work!

I've tried all the popular encoders and for me M3 is the best so far.
Let me know what you think.

also, make sure you have genuine Microsoft windows to use m3, otherwise the nero thing will not download, therefore you wont be able to use it....ive got non original windows on my comp, some one on this forum pm'd a file that made my pc be recognised as a genuine product so it worked for me.......

@ Kyle
Most malls and restaurants (like McDonalds, Trumps, News Cafe, Mugg&Bean etc. . .) here in South Africa have FREE WiFi. Dude plz remember that HSDPA is still quite expensive here and it will get slower as more people use it JUST LIKE 3G! And theres no full coverage since its still new ay. And if you already have ADSL, I-BURST or some other form of Wifi router at your house life will be A Lot easier and cheaper with N81. Also the normal N81 comes with a 2GB MicroSD standard in package.

Doesn't N-Gage allow you to create a game profile (ID), and use it while you play N-Gage games to track stats and such? Can't you also play other players online via Nokia's Arena with your ID? It sounds a lot like Xbox online's service... If you ask me, that trumphs an accelerometer any day. I also think it's totally fair to compare both the W910 and N81 to each other since they are both multi-media phones with an emphasis on gaming and music and cost about the same! I also think that it's fair to compare the N95 8GB and the W960 to each other once they both come out, as they too are also competing for the same market space and will probably cost the same! I just think that a majority of you know that the Sony Ericsson's offering are a little more lacking when compared to Nokia's in the spec's department....

ok well i just read the w910 review and the n81's, its from that website that the 1 dude posted about the w910 reviewed, so i cant remember his name, and i wen i read the w910's review i was a bit dipappointed, the only gud thing about the phone is the luk's, hsdpa, simplicity of a java os, nd the ease of SE's UI, the n81 is clearly a better and more advanced phone, the music they say is as gud as the n91, they say its really loud, and the n-gage |

platform is definately better and much more advanced, i can do so much with it cause its a S60 phone, so right now im gonna go with the n81 cause clearly its better, nd why not hve a really advanced phone, its better in so many ways |

Especially if the cost is the same for both handsets (like it is here in the states! I just checked Amazon and saw that the prices are the same for both the W910 and the N81 without the internal 8GB of memory!)! I think it's also imortant to factor in the cost of expandable memory! If you get the N81 without the built in 8GB and decide to invest in an SD card for it, then at least you know that you're getting the better deal since (on a whole and generally speaking) micro SD cards are cheaper than Sony's proprietary M2 cards! Just more food for thought..... At least if you get the Nokia and in the future decide to buy ANOTHER different manufacturer's phone, other than a Nokia, then at least your purchase is a little more future proof with the Micro SD card. Right?
