Can you please explain what does "too powerful for me" means? Are you planning on wrestling with the phone?
Back to topic, N81 surely wins hands down! And i'm sick and tired of this 'S60 is complex' BS because its just not true. I got a S60 phone after two years with SE and got used to it within one day. If you people call "anything different than SE UI" complex then change that habit of thinking.
N81 has a million times better screen, brilliant legibility in direct sunlight. Its got WiFi and nGage platform and VGA video recording.
And last thing, dont fall for this "sense me" crap because its useless in the longer term. No other device has this, can you call it their draw back? No. Its just a fun feature and nothing else.
I like the W910, but it doesnt compare with the N81. Sorry.

Well ATM N81 is extremly over-rated.
I'd prefer you to wait a bit for the N81's price to drop a bit.
N81 has WiFi , and N-Gage Platform , which can be pretty fun.
I understand your feeling that your used to using SE ... So that's probably why you'ill have difficulty trying to get used to Symbian OS ...But trust me ive been using SE before , infact i still am , and then i bought a N73ME , and in 2 days i was pretty much used to it.
Once you use Symbian OS , you'ill get used to it .
I'd say go for N81 , cuz W910 seems like a serious RIPOFF to me.
EDIT : If you try to see the weight and size of the both , W910 and N81 , i guess , are almost the same.I holded and used N81 8GB and it WAS NOT AS HEAVY AS N80 .

it means that there is so much the phone can do and i dont need to do any of it...i dont think ill use all the apps and stuff that the phone is suposed to do
i dont want or need wifi so that will probably also be a waste and i dont need the vga video recording because ill never use the camera

Thats perfectly understandable. Why carry around all that stuff if you'll never use it? Feature-phones (non-smart) are generally faster and more reliable anyway IMO.

I'd say to get the N81 if money is not an object.
It's better in all aspects, except...
The W910 is more of a simple fun phone. It takes pictures, it plays music, it has a nice media player and brower for photos and videos, it has an accelerometer to play games with, and it has some of the coolest looking themes for the menus (like the eclipse theme which changes depending on the angle that you hold the phone).
But the N81 is a powerhouse. Its screen would be really good (considering the general quality of Nokia screens), it has 8GB of flash memory, and most of all you have the power of a full OS. In fact, if you want the 8GB of flash memory, then by all means you may as well get it.
Technically, the N81 is far superior, but if you never plan on installing apps, or using the 8GB of storage, then maybe the W910 would suit you more.

I would say get the N81-8GB. The Symbian S60 OS is great and VERY easy to get used to, theres A Lot of apps for it which will keep you entertained, and you get Symtorrent and Symella GREAT apps for sharing and downloading basically ANYTHING!! The N81 also has the 369mHz FreeScale processor thats in the N76 and 5700 which are very quick phones. As you know i was suddenly left with a dead SE W900 a couple of months ago and decided to get a Nokia N80. It took a day or two to get used to the UI but as soon as i got used to it i didn't want and don't want a Java phone EVER again. The W910 may be great when you 1st get it but think LONG TERM if your going to be tied down for 2Years on a contract with that phone. will you like it after 6months? I think the N81 is a lot more "Future safe" theres always new and exciting Apps and Games for s60,and i can imagine for N-Gage Platform its going to be HUGE! So N81 DEFINETLY! I may join you there if i dont get the N95-8GB

money is sort of a problem, all i want is a good media player with good quality music and it must be quite loud i dont think ill be installing apps(i only use mxit, opera mini, mobizine and mig33 on my phone) and for me iv only recently maxed out my 512mb card there is probably another 500mb which i would like to put on it, so really i only need about a gig or 2, i dont want to wait awhile for things to come up,
right now i think im gonna get the w910, unless the music quality is not that good and loud, then ill go for the n81
what is the n-gage platform like? iv never used it before |

If all you want is a good media player and good quality sound, why are you spending so much money on W910? W580 is 99.9% similar interms of music playback.
