I haven't been here in a very long time. Not sure what made me come and reach out...a bit of comforting nostalgia perhaps? And how I remembered my password i've no idea, at 40 years old I can't remember what I had for my tea last night ha. My first post was all the way back in 2005 and A lot has changed in that time. I've been married, had two kids, got divorced, had another kid. However, my love for gadgets & phones is still there. From the Sony Ericcson K750i (which is what I had when I joined) to my new iPhone 15 Pro Max, phones have certainly changed in the last 18 years!

It'd be good to hear from other members. What have you all been up to?

I suppose like most of us. We breath in, breath out and notice that another year is gone. I’ve had some good and bad times but also got back to esato again. Phones are totally boring nowadays, who cares about a faster chip or even better camera

I'm still visiting this place occasionally. this place being left largely untouched for more than decade has effectively become a time capsule of memories.

No shit mate, they all look the same bland slab these days

I sure miss the old times; each phone has a design language that we can distinguish from one another, I still have my N95, N90, P800, Xperia Mini Pro and W800i sitting on my shelf, with their batteries long dead, they're what's left of my old collection, it reminds me of the days when we get excited on new phones announcements.

You're not wrong. The innovation was racing ahead, every year. I remember getting excited about a 2MP cam.

I have in my possession,

T610
W902
w380

from the old school retro phones.

Strangely, some look so cool, even today. Pity the 2 and 2.5 networks will be switching off soon.
