Nice phone but so overpriced. Being Apple I am sure it will sell well though

Hello everyone at Esato. I have been here for a very long time.

My frist phone was Sony Ericsson T200. I still remember that day and it was such a beauty with blue & white screen and all the other Nokia phones had black & white screen. I loved Sony Ericsson

After Sony & Ericsson got left apart, used Sony mobiles too for a long time. Xperia Z3+ was the last Sony mobile I used.

I really loved the new Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Have always loved Sony's build quality and technology.

The reason I moved to Apple iPhone was the operating system. I was so done with Android and it's bugs. There was a time when phone use to get hang after a year or 2 that it was annoying to even make calls. And that happened for a very long time with many phones not just one. I'm very happy with iOS and that's one of the main reason I don't feel like coming back to Sony.

I bought Apple iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> pre-orderd iPhone XS Max.

Even though I use Apple, I keep checking up with Sony. I have used Sony mobiles for more than 12 years and it holds a very special place in my life. I wish Sony one day makes it's own OS because they are truly capable of making quality stuff. Only 2 companies use top quality on smartphones and that's Sony & Apple.

Miss you

Have to say, thoroughly enjoying my iPhone XS Max 256GB in Space Grey.
I am pretty much locked into the Apple ecosystem now that I have added the iPhone to my collection of iPad and MacBook Air.

Loaded iOS 12.4 and all smooth sailing, this thing continues to blow me away, especially the Display and the quality plus bass in the stereo loudspeakers, really amazing job by Apple, the stainless steel just makes the whole device feel heftier and more premium than anything else on the market.

I am also liking the wider stance the XS Max has vs current Androids that seem to be getting more narrow, my P30 Pro which I am still thoroughly loving is significantly narrower than my XS Max, I am finding that I enjoy watching more videos and browsing on the XS Max vs the narrower P30 Pro.

I’m sure it must be epic!

I have a Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 with Pop up camera for review, and I am blown away by the whole Fullscreen experience these devices are bringing.

Indeed, I hope we get more phones more phones like this over the next year, OnePlus really set a nice trend.

Have to say though, it’s difficult for me to put down my XS Max, it’s integrating with my car, my iPad and other services better than Android phones ever have. It’s really strange as I am Hardware Nut, but this XS Max has really had me rethinking my stance on iOS and with iOS 13/iPadOS Beta on my iPad I see my XS Max getting even better.

With all that said, I’ll Pro still get the Huawei Mate 30 Pro hehe

Glad you like the xs max so much. For me the camera was not good enough considering the asked price . I am tempted by iPhone 11 pro max this year because of the improved camera. But I have the note 10! Plus so not sure

Mate 30 pro would be a cracking phone but if it doesn't have the Google apps it is a no for me

Always enjoy this guys reviews

Still loving my XS Max, and now that it has been confirmed that the 11 models use 4GB RAM like the XS models, I will happy skip them and carry on enjoying my XS Max until the 2020 or 2021 models arrived.

The beauty of them having 4GB RAM like the XS is that means that XS Models will get updates for at least the next 5 years much like the iPhone 6S has been getting updates since 2015 and will carry on well into 2020 and probably 2021.

The 11 Pro Max is definitely the way to go for Camera, I like the XS Max camera but it does feel limited next to my P30 Pro with its Wide Angle Camera, 5x Optical Zoom and Night Mode.

Yeah, we’ll have to see what can be done with the Mate 30 Pro, I may still get one, such a shame about this whole US ban, the Mate 30 Pro was looking like it was going to be the phone to get this year.
